Hopefully everyone had a wonderful weekend!! This weekend I went to the Grand Canyon and oh my it was just a wonderful trip! I had an awesome time! I haven't been to the Grand Canyon since 96' and well I really didn't remember it that much but going this past weekend was alot of fun!
On Saturday morning we drove up to Williams, Arizona to catch a train all the way to the Grand Canyon. I was super excited since I had never been on a train before! It was so much fun, I was like a little kid again haha! Anyways after the train ride we arrived to the Grand Canyon, had lunch and then we just walked and took in every breath-taking moment of the canyon. While I was there nothing else in my mind was coming through. My mind was just relaxed, everything was so peaceful. Everyone there was just taking in the beautiful canyons and how amazing they really look. I literally sat there thinking "I sware im looking at a painting". It is just that beautiful. If you ever have time to go, I suggest the Grand Canyon, you really have to see it for yourself.
After a couple hours there we headed back on the train and called it a day after that. It was an awesome trip and would love to go back again!
Sunday was just a relaxing kind of day, we watched Shrek to catch up so we would know what is going on the third one. We are going today to see it, yippie!
Today I was supposed to wake up at five to go running because after 6 the sun comes out and its blazing hot outside. Yesturday Bullhead hit 105 eek! By 8 its already 89 degrees. However, my phone alarm didn't go off and I didn't wake up until late. So im planning on going running tonight. The last week while im here, I think im just going to concentrate on running. Lets see how well I can do, I love running takes so much stress out than other exercises but at the same time my joints take a major whip from it.
Im really happy today, everything is just wonderful! I couldn't be happier!! Im getting to a point where im getting to know my body more and more! The best part is I don't feel as guilty if I eat too much of something or if I splurge too much. As a matter of fact let me warn you before you go into Costco or Sams Club, please duck tape your mouth shut, or maybe just mine! We walk in there and im just looking around and then we hit the food section well golly gee the day im there, everyone is giving samples! Lets see I about had dinner there! I stopped by and fruit salad cart, had a couple samples, okay so I went to her car five times! She didn't mind! I even bought the bag! Then we went to the energy drink stand, had a cup of that, then I was off to the snack cart, she was giving away Chips Ahoy Cookies, and Nutter Butter, got two samples, then it was off to the pastry cart, I had a sample of a lemon tart. I was stuffed then it was off to the cookie cart. They were giving away huge cookies, so I got an oatmeal and a chocolate chip. Ate both of them! Was it just yummy! So either they don't ever let me in again, or they put a sign on me that says allergic to all food. Anyways im off!
Have a wonderful Monday!
Oh yeah, I forgot, I got the pictures developed but my dads laptop won't register the CD so I have to use another computer, but I will post them once it all works out!

Fun
I'm glad you had a great time. Note to self: always go to Costco or Sam's Club AFTER a meal. They do let you sample the yummiest things!
to see the pictures! We saw Shrek the 3rd last weekend and it was cute. I'm pretty good at avoiding the samples at CostCo! And when I'm starving and hope they have a lot, they don't! Figures!
I hope to take the girls to the Grand Canyon in about 10 years or so, that would be nice. I've never been.
Yeah, those wholesale clubs are like that. That's how they get people to "impulse" buy things they weren't planning on getting. I'm a member of Costco and I try not to ever go when I'm hungry.
Sound like you had a really nice time at the Grand Canyon. I haven't been there but I actually flew over it once in a plane and it was sure a cool sight to see. I need to get back into my running. Man everyone is running but me LOL! My husband loves free samples from those warehouses. He's a big freebie fan.
The Grand Canyon sounds like a beautiful place to visit. Mount Rainier also looks like a painting and it's just crazy to think that something like that exists naturally.
How was Shrek 3? We saw it on Sunday and I thought it was funny but not quite as good as the last two.
Just thought I would swing by and say hello. I have been blogging on EP [on and off] since late 2005, and I have never read your blog! I just went back to your first entry! What a hard worker you are! And you are right- like your title says- hello beautiful.
I have not been able to really stick to a diet. I was on Jenny also, and lost about 35 lbs, but was so sick of the food that I left. It has been down hill since! Now I am getting married and am still a fatso. For now, I am doing a very low carb diet to hopefully lose as much as possible before my wedding which is 3 and 1/2 months away. Anyway- I just wanted to say that your journey is an inspiration to me. I love your positive attitude! And you look fabulous!! So glad you enjoyed the Canyon! It is gorgeous there!! Have a great day! :o)
never been on a train before?? Oh wonderful hi dear, I'm nearly new here so I've seen you nick on another blog and I've looked for you, I like the way you've used to lose you weight , wonderful, my compliments :)
