Happy Thursday to all!!! That only means one thing, tommorow is FRIDAY! WOOHOO!!!
Sorry for being absent, Im getting situated with the dog and getting back to my routine for eating and exercising! Talking about the dog, I finally took a picture of her, goodness who would have known taking a picture of a dog is not an easy task! Anywho she finally sat still without moving her head and I was able to take a picture, keep in mind its not that good of a picture, but for now its okay. About names for her, she had already came with a name, Scooter. Im not a huge fan of it because it sounds more of a boy name than a girl name, but Im going to live with it actually I have been calling her scoots. She is just an adorable dog! I was actaully quite nervous because I have never in my life owned a dog of my own and I didn't know how much work they were going to be so I never really invested in one. Well after having one, I have to say "why didn't I get one sooner!?" shes such an awesome doggy. Yesturday we went to Petsmart to go get some food for her and to look around and holy macaroni who would have known after having a dog you would go crazy in a store like that. Its a Target for pets! Luckly I came out with just food!
Now on to me, I still haven't dropped the weight and frankly something clicked in me and I think I know why. I haven't really been drinking the amount of water I was used to drinking before and I believe this has to do with why my body is still storing on to the water. So today my main concern....DRINK MY WATER! Hopefully then I can see the scale drop. Odd thing is im not killing anyone over this gain, I think its because I keep telling myself its not real weight. Im crossing my fingers its not. Someday there will be an explanation as to why we binge until then I have to hold my fingers and mouth away from black holes like chips and cheese dip, and pie.

Your dog is so cute!!!! You'll be fine weight wise. It is all the salt and things you ate over the weekend. No worries!

Cute doggie! I've never had a dog - always cats. In fact, Hubby and I had a kitten named Scooter (yes, it was a boy). Unfortunately a table fell on him while we were out and he died. He was the most affectionate little guy we ever owned. We still miss him.

I know what it's like to forget about drinking your water. I was just blogging about it. I finally got to my realistic weight after I improved my water intake and I'm sure you will too!

Look at that cutie!!! Yes, dogs are hard work! And I have a hard time getting my dogs to pose for a photo, too! In fact, I'm trying to set up a family portrait and I want my dogs in it...but I just don't see how I'm going to get them to sit still....and on the beach!! There is no way! :)
Have fun with Scooter! I love that name...my best friends dog was named Scooter (a girl) when we kids. Most of my animals came with names, too. Even though we all hate the name Celeste, our cat came with that name and she was 1 and a half, so we coudn't change it. Our dog Hayley, however, was originally named Felicia and since she was just a baby, we changed it. Oh, and our first cat was originally named Corky, but since my husbands name is Corey, we knew that wasn't gonna work! So he became Basil! He died a few years ago. He was our first cat. Miss him. I'm excited about all the upcoming pet stories you will be posting on your blog! Think of all the exercise you will get! :) Happy Thursday!
Awwwwww!!! Puppy! She is so cute! I like the name Scooter but I agree that is does sound more like a boy name. Scoots is an adorable nickname, though. My parents have a cat that my sister named Booger and my mom hates that name so she calls her Boogs.
What a cute doggie. I love dogs. We have three. 2 mini schnauzers and 1 cocker spaniel. I want a small "purse" dog! Hubby says no way! :( Congrats on the dog!!
black holes - i like that term! i think it is very appropriate for those tempting foods (for me it's all about the sweets) that are so hard to stop eating once you've started. i'm in the process of examining my motivation as well. in any case, i hope the water clears out your system... hang in there, the scale will update if you just give it some time! ps - v. cute dog!
she is adorable! I love dogs. We have 3 German Shepherds outside and we just got a new schnauzer puppy. He is adorable and honery..lol
I have a free day every week and so kind of a mini binge. I always weigh alot more the next day but I know it is impossible to gain that much in a day and sure enough it is always just water. Drink your water and I bet you will start dropping again.. :-)
