Well hello to all!!!! *waves* Im back home and im glad that I am! I had a very nice and relaxing weekend with my parents and my sister but im glad to be back at home and in my bed! My weekend was nice filled with sleeping, watching TV, talking and going to the pool two times a day! It was hot so what else are you going to do!? I had lots of fun swimming, I can't wait to get back in! Oh and im lovin the new tan!
So I looked at my other post and I about had a heart failure. Yeah that went down the drain, wish it didn't but it happened. Worst of all I started my TOM up there, which would explain why I couldn't one come out of the pantry or the fridge and two I was dreaming of food in my mind. Dancing twinkies and chocolate cake. Hey blame it on TOM! So with that in hand I don't remember anything after that, I just ate! I didn't eat to the point of death, but I ate bad stuff! Did the mistake of getting on the scale to only read a horrible number....148!!! Not sure what is TOM weight and not sure what is twinkie, french silk pie weight. So im leaving it there and this is my next challenge to get it all off.
I was really bummed the other day because im not used to this all the time. I literally don't eat like this and when it happens im just not prepared. I get disappointed in myself because I think of all the hard work I have put in and I just saw it dwindle down in a matter of two days. I wish I could rewind and change some things that I did, but its in the past and I need to concentrate on the future. I just wish I knew how to stop this behavior or lessen it somehow.
Im just crossing my fingers my weight goes back down, this morning the scale read 144 so its getting there, slowly but surely! Im going to log this in to see what happens and maybe I can learn from this! Im still trying to figure out why this happened. Any tips send them my way!
Before I go I want to share something my parents got me for my "early" birthday present. I got a DOG!!!!!!! I walked in on Saturday from swimming and I hear this dog, and there on the couch is a Chihuahua on the couch! I about screamed my head off!!! I have never had a dog and I have been wanting one forever, best part is she doesn't bark, is already house trained and is soooo quiet! Yes! I will try to post a picture when my camera phone decides it wants to snap a picture!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday! Lets all kick some booty and I will check on you all!!! I miss you all!!!

Not worried
I'm sure you won't have any trouble with the extra weight. Once you get back into your regular routine it will all melt off.
Glad you had fun and glad you're back. I think when we go on vacations and such, it's okay to indulge a little bit. You can get that weight back off with the quickness. The good thing is that you're stopping it now and not when you need to lose over 90 pounds again. That's wonderful!
Don't stress bout the extra pounds - you'll have them off in a matter of no time!
And yes I can relate - whenever I go to MN to see family or friends - it's like any rational thoughts go out the window and it's time to eat everything in sight that I can't get here in Canada. And at the parents - totally hard cuz my moms always making my favorites - and well they aren't healthy either. But I still love and enjoy it!!!!
Lucky Lucky you - a dog how fun! They are soo much fun and soo much work but soo rewarding! Have fun and definately post a pic. Any names picked out???
Can't wait to see the picture of your lil dog =D Must be adorable...what did you name it?
Like they said, don't sweat it, you'll get back on track and lose those extrapounds in a flash! Be strong and don't let that bring you down =) You can do this.

vacation eating
that's the hardest for me, eating while not in town. but you know what to do to decrease those scale numbers so you'll be fine. Don't get too upset at yourself, I'm sure you've learned from your experience. And it's okay to let the moderation in eating go out the window for a while, you'll be back on track in no time.
Maybe we should get together next for a work out and not for lunch because I (confession...) just had a whole pint of ice cream last night too!
I'd love to see your dog. B loves those little ones, his mom has one and it's like his little brother!

TOM is not nice.. to any of us
Hiya Alexia! Girl, I gotta tell ya, TOM is not nice to any of us, he makes us feel bad and he makes us crave things we normally have good control over. I'd have to say that bilogically speaking we are at TOM's mercy. I've never been able to figure out a way to curb the cravings. I've tried and tried, but I usually end up caving and eating chocolate. I'm sorry I don't have any tips, but I'd love some too if anyone has any that's worked for them. I've also noticed I crave salty things as well as chocolate when I have him as a visitor. I'm not sure why though.. I love that you have a little dog! Have you named her yet? I bet she is sooo cute! How old is she?
Oh, and about the weight, you will have that off in no time, flat, don't beat yourself up over it, we all do it and we'll learn from it and move onward and forward. You didn't ruin your weight loss efforts, you had a small slip up, it happens and it's ok. I'm sure that for most of us we'll have them as long as we live, we just gotta get past it, lose the little bit of weight gain we all sometimes have and just keep on smiling. I hope you have a great day today, I'm so glad you are back!!
2 days does NOT ruin everything you have done. It is when it turns into 2 months that you have the problem. So just know that you will be fine....if you are back on track, then it will come off in no time. And the scale already shows some of it gone...so just don't depend on that number until at least a week has gone by. It will not stick...that is a fact. So don't put much on what the scale says until a week of being 'normal' for you has gone by. :)
How neat you got a dog. I can't wait to see a picture of her or him.
Funny how you mention your weight gain cuz I've been reading your blog from the beginning to see how you lost 91 pounds! You'll lose those small gains in no time. Remma it's TOM, don't expect mercy from him!
The extra weight will be off in no time. You know what you're doing! I can't believe you got a dog! Can't wait to see pictures. Have a wonderful and healthy week as well!
missed seeing your posts. boy can I relate to your weekend eating... I had some major difficulties both yesterday and monday and I can't really say exactly what the cause was (but I did speculate some on the blog). it's ok though - you've admitted it and aren't in denial - acknowledgment is key - and everything that happens we learn from. the good thing is we know what we need to do now and we will!
Don't you hate when that TOM weight fluctuation comes around? The Monday before last was when my TOM was coming and the scale said I was 10 pounds heavier! Don't worry about it, it will come right off. See, 144, you're on your way down already. :)
I have no explanation for you on why we binge, I guess sometimes we spend so much time being good that we just want to indulge ourselves. Then when we eat something naughty we can't get enough of it and start eating everything in sight. I am finding that journaling privately is helping me, though.
Awwwww, congratulations on the dog!!! I'm so excited for you! And a little jealous! I've also always wanted a dog. :) I can't wait to see the pictures!
Dont put yourself down. You know that you can get that weight off in NO time flat! Sounds like your mom was so happy to see you on mother's day! I am glad that you had a great time. You are a lucky duck for getting a new pup! I LOVE puppies! Cant wait to see the pictures
