Last night I had to spend the night with my sister and her kids because she gets scared sleeping by herself when her husband is not around. Not that I wouldn't want to, I love hanging out with my sister, she is my best friend and I just love her. Yesturday we made dinner, watched Dancing with the Starts, and of course we have our regular Tuesday showing of the Workout! Oh how im hooked to that show!!!! All these reality shows really do hook me in! Im a sucker for them!
While I was over, I was nervous because I tend to snack more when im over at her house. I think it's because she has kids and in their pantry is this endless amount of snacks! Everywhere! Pop Tarts, pop corn, chips, cookies, fruit snacks, bagels, ice cream, you know where im going. Well at my panty its the total opposite. So its like my brain goes into overdrive and just wants to eat it all!
However, I had another victory! Stuck to my guns, and didn't give into too all the junk food. We had rotisserie chicken sandwiches! Which were sooo good! I haven't had rotisserie chicken in forever! It was just yummy! I said no to the tortilla soup, how it looked good but for a cup of that stuff was not only 400 calories but it had 1400 mg of sodium! No thanks!
I did have a splurge and I did have two chocolate chip cookies with my bowl of Ice cream! After all a girl needs her sweets! I don't think I could ever be without sweets!
So today I hopped on the scale, because today is weigh in day for me. I usually do the daily weigh in thing, but every Wednesday I count it as an offical read. Anyways I got on and it read....144.2lbs!!!! YAAAHOOOO!!! My new goal has been 140 but im not putting alot of preasure on myself to get there, Im going slow. Well that means Im only 4.2 pounds away from my second goal!!! YAHOOOO!!!! That means I have lost a total of 89.6 pounds!!!! Holy Macaroni!!!! Thats alot of everything! I wonder how many cheeseburgers that is? haha

Tonight I have to go to a going away party from work, and we are celebrating a Applebee's not a huge fan, but anyone have any good suggestions? Send them my way!
Did you know, that drinking cold water rather than warm water starts up your metabolism and makes you burn more calories! Oh baby bring on the ice cold water!

Your sister's pantry is full of food, but your panty is the total opposite???? I would hope you don't have food in there. LOL.
Seriously though, congrats on such a great job. It's absolutely amazing how much you've lost.
Happy Happy Happy Dance! You go, girl! I know how hard it is to resist all those yummy snacks. My kids are 7 & 9, and Easter just went by. Care to guess what my pantry looks like? My rule is not to eat after supper - EVER - so there is never an opportunity to indulge. Thank heavens!
The only thing I like at Applebees is on their weight watchers menu ... the Confetti Chicken. I have a weakness for mexican food and this really satifies it without a lot of calories.
but some of the weight watchers menu items look rather appealing! i'm pretty sure leanne had blogged about eating off that menu there and really enjoying the food. i've heard the french onion ww soup is good as well as the steak/shrimp skewers one.
and like, you, i am a sucker for the sweets! bring on the cookies and ice cream =) i'm having an ice cream making party tonight...
I don't know if you'll get this before you go out to Applebees but I was pleasantly surprised by the shrimp skewer salad on the Weight Watcher's menu. It's only 4 points which is very low by WW standards, the salad is large and comes with shrimp skewers. My only complaint is that I'm getting sick of it because it's the only thing I order when I go to Applebee's.

I haven't been to Applebee's in a while, but when I do go I usually choose something from the WW menu, which is bountiful. The grilled tilapia is really good and so is the chicken sandwich. Yummy, you're making me want to go to Applebee's. Have fun girlie!

You asked on my blog what marathon I'm training for? The Chicago Marathon on October 7th. Plenty of time to train, but I'm not wasting any second of it. I'm currently following a schedule I found online and tried last year all the way up to doing the half marathon, but this year I'm going all the way with another local training place that features group runs and stuff. I guess I'm SORT of following it, but I'm upping my mileage quicker on the weekends. I can't wait til my group runs start...every time I run a long run each weekend (even if it's just 5 miles), I'm so happy...exhilerated is a better word.
