EEK!!!!

So I can't eat until my doctor's appointment!!!  So last night I went to bed planning, so I won't think about food too much. I usually get up and im eating in less than five minutes, well not today since I have my doctor's appointment. I have to get blood drawn as well as the abdominal check to make sure everything is okay. Hopefully I wont die from not eating! haha! I even slept in so I would just have to wake up and go....yeah that didn't work out at all! Oh well!

Update!!

Okay went to the doctor, to get my ultrasound to see if everything is okay, and what is causing all these pains. First off let me declare im VERY, and I mean VERY ticklish on my stomach! So the whole time I wanted to laugh so hard, I was biting my lip so I could hold it in!  Anyways, they really didn't say much to be everything looks good, and they will send the results to my doctor, I was like okay. Odd, I was thinking they would explain to me, but I guess not. Anyways got my blood drawn and it went fine. It didn't hurt, and I didn't bruise! WOOHOO!!!

Got alot of errands to run today. Tonight im babysitting my sister's kids so they can do on a date!! It's been a long time since they went on a date, and finally they decided to, so here comes super babysitter!

Have to start thinking what im going to cook for dinner. Im searching for ideas they we can all agree on.

Before I go, does anyone else have a Starbucks obsession? goodness I could go there everyday....bad but true!

that's me. . i'm obsessed.  Thankfully I figured out that a venti nonfat sugar-free vanilla latte is 4 points AND 2 servings of dairy :)  YEEHAW!

Anyway, take it to me to figure out all that.

I love it. . love love love it. . but I've figured out how to make my own Iced Vanilla Lattes. . . 2 cups milk, 3 tbs fat free vanilla creamer and 4-6 oz of REALLY STRONG COFFEE.  Put it on ice and Yummy.  So happy about that one! :)

I'm glad you had a better day.  I've been so busy that I haven't even come to EP and checked on anyone.  Bad friend, bad, bad friend.

Starbucks

I don't have one near me.. just a Dunkin' Donuts on every corner it seems, but I do like Starbucks, Venti, no fat, no sugar Caramel latte. :)  Yum!

I hope that you hear from your Dr. and  your U/S shows that you're A-OK.

I was addicted to Starbucks.  I have weaned myself off of it.  I work at a grocery store (Albertson's) and my old store had a Starbuck's inside.  I had about 5 a week, if not more!  Now that I moved to a new store, I haven't had Starbucks in months.  Now if we could only get the Moxie Java coffee shops at Boise State University to dissapear....

that the doctor's appointment went well. Always scary when it is unknown. I know how you feel, as I had a recall on a mammogram this week (3rd time in three years) and I had to wait until the next day to go back for more "pictures". It can be frightening knowing that the outcome can change your life. Good for you for no longer using food as a crutch to emotional worry. I'm trying to safeguard myself from doing that, and actually thought I was "fixed" but now realize I can only start fresh each day with a positive outlook that things WILL turn around... no necessarily on my timetable (why is it nearly NEVER on my time table? : ) but they WILL turn around and I need to be ready to run with it. I know it's gonna be a great Friday for you Alexia : )

When.....

When do you get your results?  I hope it all comes back okay.  But, I also hope they find an easily cured reason for your pains.  I'm sure that was hard not to laugh on the ultra sound.  I had to do a non-stress test while I was pregnant.  (I think that's what it was called.)  Whatever it was, I was hooked up to the machine that reads if you are having contractions.  If you laugh, it registers on the machine.  DH got me laughing so hard about something.  The machine was going crazy.  The nurse came in and kind of told us we needed to stop.  Well, that just made me laugh even more.  Oh well, I will be praying for you!

When you hear back from your Dr.  I'm sure its nothing.  Glad you finally got into the Dr's though.

I just have to applaude you for your comments to the 2 girls in the sauna the other day.  If it was me I probably wouldn't of said anything because I wouldn't have the courage.  GOOD FOR YOU!!   

And awesome job on the sweet fix!!  You have to tell me where you got those peanut butter cups you added in your ice cream.  I"m addicted to PB cups!!

i love your new blog design.  sunny and yellow, it makes me think of warm weather and carefree summery days.  i'm glad to hear your appointment is done and over with.  i'll be hoping that you get some good results back soon.  did you have fun babysitting your nieces and nephews?  hope you found something you could all agree to eat!  i've been craving some macaroni and cheese for some strange reason.  i might make that for dinner tonight :)

i'm not big on the starbucks thing mostly because i don't like the taste of coffee.  however, i do love the smell and i could sit in coffee shoppes for hours reading and sipping some hot tea or cocoa!
