Like I said from my post on Sunday, thank goodness for Monday's! Im starting fresh this week!! Today all I have planned is to clean, clean, and clean! Spring Cleaning it is! I have just got to get organized with all my paperwork and other things around the apartment! I know once I get my place organized and cleaned, my life will slowly de-clutter itself! I think this going to help me alot!
So Today, I start a fresh, new week ahead! If I fall along the way, thats fine with me. I make mistakes (love them) and I learn from them for the future!
I know If I write them down, it will do be better :)
Goals for the week:
Eat more at home and cook my own meals, exercise 6 days a week for 60 minuites, and strength train three x a week, and to always be happy!!!
Last week with the whole busy schedule, I ate out more than I wanted as well as I didn't fit in all my exercise and opps, I forgot to strength train last week! No, No! Anyways those are all my goals for the week!
I will be going to the doctor later on today so until then im going to clean my little away!
I will update later! Thank you to everyone who is praying for me and behind me, it means the world to me.
Update! Okay so went to go and have my ultrasound and I had been waiting for a good thirty minutes. They call me up to the window and explain to me that the tech has decided not to go ahead and do the ultrasound because I have eaten and can make everything complex. Well, when I called the office to schedule my appointment no one told me about how I could not eat! Am I just supposed to assume? I even asked her is their anything I need to do! Ha-ha! So I had to go home re-schedule. BAH, HUMBUG! I was mad but I calmed down and told her well things happen. So I have my next appointment at nine on Wednesday. This time it will be for sure, and I will not eat! Oh well! You can’t do anything about it! I am off to cleaning and then to check on you all! J
Happy Monday to all!!!!
Have a healthy and happy week!!!

Im glad you like Mondays! :P
Good Luck with your Spring Cleaning today! I did mine over the weekend and it felt good to clean out what had been piled up over the year...I really hope they find an answer for all your pain you have had. Keeping you in my thoughts...
Hey Alexia, can you e-mail me some of that energy you have there? I really could use some today after my weekend. I still haven't looked at your new pics you posted ( the before and middle pics ) I'm going to do that right now! I'm thinking abut you today, I've prayed that everything goes great for you today!!
I just found your blog and you're such an inspiration! I haven't had a chance to read through all of it yet, but I wanted to ask you a question...I think I saw that you did Jenny Craig? Have you been following their program the entire time you've been loosing? You sound so positive and happy...I need some of that!
The EXACT same thing happened to me about a year ago! What is with these office staffers? You'd think it would be the most obvious thing to tell the patient what she needs to know. I missed an entire day of work because of it, too. So, I hope you find out soon what the problem is. I know a lot of women who lose loads of weight get gallstones, which can be very painful. Good luck. Keep us updated.
Anyway, don't let them do any other tests unless the don't find anything. . . we went the long route with my gallbladder, having everything else done first (Lower GI ~ UGH), (Upper GI), etc. . . and then the u/s . . . which was like 10 minutes and painless.
I love spring cleaning, it feels great when it's all done! I hope that you are feeling better very soon! When I had surgery back in December it was to have my gallbladder removed....when I first went to the doctor I was explaining how I felt to the nurse first and said to her that I think it might be my gallbladder and she was all "that's what everyone thinks..." I thought that was rude of her since it actually was my gallbladder...but I was so relieved when they finally set my surgery date. My pains were almost ALWAYS at night and I could NEVER sleep thru them they were so bad. I'm not kidding when I say they were worse than contractions. Ok, I'll stop babbling but I will be thinking about you and I'll check back in on Wednesday for an update!
Wow that would make me mad, too. You asked her if there was anything you should do to prep for the ultrasound. Helloooooo! Geez, they shouldn't expect you just to know. Well I guess now you know so next time you will get your ultrasound for sure.
That is so positive of you to say that you love your mistakes. What a great way to look at them! I'm going to be making a lot of "mistakes" next week in California. Ok, I guess if they are planned then they aren't mistakes. lol
I think I would have been ready to scream. Like you don't have anything better to do. Anyway I hope everything goes well and I think that it very well could be your gallbladder. Sounds a lot llike my sister's symptons and that was her problem.
I need some of that energy too. I hate spring cleaning.
Hiya Alexia, I looked at the pics and I am just as impressed as ever! Also, thank you so much for the great advice and encouragement you gave me. It really touched me and made my get the sniffles, so I have cleaned the slate so to speak and I'm on to making my 100 pound loss! Thank you for all the encouragement and kind words you always send my way!! I hope you have a great Tuesday!!
Everything happens for a reason...always remember that!
Hi Alexia-
Sorry to hear about your wasted appointment, but always remember things happen for a reason. So let us know on Wednesday how it goes.
Yesterday was totally a new beginning for me. Not only was it a beautiful Monday here is Miami but my 2nd son turned 18. So 1 little girl of 12 left; 2 adult boys...(1 is 25 the other now 18). This shows me how totally precious time is...it flys by so un-noticed-- it is the most precious thing on Earth as when it is gone, it can never be recaptured. I'm so excited we are all on this journey together, creating memories and enjoying our time together!
Why in the world would they not tell you that? It seems kind of important. LOL! DUH! I hope that Wednesday you'll get some answers. Have fun spring cleaning! It's so nice to have a nice fresh start to the season. I've got the spring fever bug, but I can't open the windows yet. LOL! When that happens, Look out!
Thanks for you kind words....

Spring Cleaning
I've been spring cleaning myself too since my daughter gotten sick. The place needed to be disinfect from bringing home all the germs.
They did the same thing to my husband when he needed to go for an ultrasound to check acid reflex. They went ahead and did it anyways. I'm sure it would have been better with no food.
Yes I tried not to go out to eat often too because you don't know what they put in that food and how much fat, sugar, and sodium. Going out to eat is like a luxury. That's how I think of it. I tried to be creative and learn new recipes each week to keep myself from being bored.
I'm sorry the Dr's office misinformed you and you had to reschedule!! Please let us know when you find out next week whats going on. i'm hoping its nothing serious!! As I'm sure you are. : )
I hope your cleaning went well yesterday. I also feel that when my house and office are clean, I just feel so much better about life!! LOL I know, how silly does that sound!!
Keep up the awesome work and don't foget to fill us in on what the Dr says!! Good luck!
hey alexia- doh! that stinks that they neglected to tell you about not eating beforehand. you know, i had the opposite happen. i had made just a regular appt to see my primary dr. (first visit) and they told me as standard part of the first visit i was not supposed to eat anything that day... but my appt was at lunch time! i was so starving by the time i got there and they then after the appt was done i casually asked the dr why i wasnt allowed to eat. she said, oh! you could have eaten - they dont give the blood tests to people who are under a certain age by default! and then she felt bad and gave me a granola bar. =) have a great tuesday!
Hey Alexia!! I hope you have fun decluttering your life..Mine is cluttered and doesn't look like its getting decluttered anytime soon!! Hope everything works out okay with your health..don't worry!! Have a good week!
