Made a huge goal

I have set mini goals for myself throughout my journey,  and it has helped me not get overwhelmed.  But recently I have made one of my HUGE goals and that was to get under 200 pounds.  I have not been under 200 pounds since I got married 8 years ago.   I feel like a new person.  WOW!  

I also posted some new pictures in my "During" folder of my progress along the way.  :)

Never say you can't do it...

I said those same exact words a year ago.   I said I could NEVER lose weight and here I am,  I have lost 71.5 lbs.  It has been a ROUGH rode,  it has been a challenge.  BUT it has also been a huge reward and I wanted to tell those of you that are starting out and or the ones that have lost a little and have gotten off track and gained some back,  dont get discouraged.  Get back on track and focus and you will do just fine.  I had NO willpower I was miserable,  I hid from everyone.  I wouldnt go to family functions,  wouldnt go out with my friends.  I made the decesion to change when my health started getting bad,  I started having high blood pressure and thyroid problems.  I did this for my kids and husband.   I have had many set backs and have many struggles with cravings.  But just know that you are NEVER alone.  There is always someone experiencing the same thing. 

I wish you all luck in your weight loss journey.  I still have 24 more pounds to lose so I am still at it too. 

Progress FINALLY

I hit a plateau....I hate plateau's.  I didnt lose then all of a sudden I got over that hump.  I was doing REALLY good and then nothing.  I expected that so I was to disappointed, I just stepped it up a notch.  I have now lost 55 lbs total.  Feels so good to say that.  Well that is my update.  Dont ever give up when you hit those plateau's.   Keep on trying!  It will pay off. 

Just an update on me... Been awhile

I havent blogged in awhile so I thought I would send out a quick update.  I am doing good in the weight loss area.  I have lost 53 pounds so far.  And still going.  I am still following the South Beach diet and I LOVE it..  It has been wonderful.   My blood pressure has gone down and I havent had a migraine in MONTHS!   That is GREAT news.  

I walk alot now and REALLY enjoy it.  I still walk about 2 miles 4-5 times a week.  Well that is about it on me.  Hope everyone else is doing well.  Happy losing. :)

Finally...Made my mini goal!

I made one of my first mini goals.  I have lost 20 lbs so far.  :)  YAY!  Go ME!  I am thrilled.  I am sooo happy!  I am doing a happy dance.  This is exciting. 

I posted some Before pics in my photos and some pics of me after 20 lbs gone :)   It feels good to say I have lost 20 lbs. 

 

Will Power!!

I seem to have lots of will power,  MORE than I thought.  My sister, neice, my kids and I were out and about running errands and the kids were hungary and wanted to go to McDonalds really bad.  I didnt want to go there but went with them.  I didnt eat a thing.  I did GREAT!!  They all ate and I just sat there and thought about what I would come home and make for myself for dinner.  It took a lot of will power to do that.  :) 

Now I do have to say that I LOVE Carls Jr. Low Carb six dollar burger.  YUM!!  For those that have never had one it is a burger with no bun wrapped in lettuce instead.  They are sooo good.  I eat mine plain,  no mayo,  or anything like that.  :) 

 

Excited...

I am thrilled about my weight loss so far,  I walk everyday that the weather allows and lately it has been beauiful so I get out and walk and push a double stroller with two toddlers age two and three,  talk about a workout.  LOL   But ohhh the shin splints I get are sooo miserable.  OUCH!!  I stretch sooo good before I leave too but that doesnt help much,  I have to stretch once during the walk too to get them to stop hurting.  I LOVE to walk.  So far I have lost 15.5 lbs and I am still going.  I thought it would be hard but it is simple.  I am getting a little bored with eating the same things but oh well if this is the results I get then I can handle eating the same protein foods and no carbs.  BLAH!!!  I drink nothing but water and occasionally I will add a crystal light packet for some flavoring. 

I am close to a mini goal I set,  just 2.5 lbs to a mini goal I set when I started losing weight and I cant wait to meet it.  I will be sooo excited.  WOW!  It is exciting to see a difference in clothing now too,  they are loose on me now.   Well enough rambling for now... Weigh in day

Today is weigh in day and I have lost 6 lbs.  YAHOO.  I am thrilled... I have been doing soo good and eating good.  I am staying focused and to see the results makes me want to keep it up.  I have been walking faithfully about a mile or more a day as long as the weather permits. So I hope next week is as good as this week.  :)

Energy .. lots of it

WOW!  I am loving the energy that I am getting from the phentermine.  This is wonderful.  It is just sooo great to have the energy to get up and get moving and not just sit around and feel blah all day.   Today is day 4 on the phentermine and I am doing wonderful on it.  No real side effects or anything. 

I have started a walking routine now and plan to stick to it.  Once the weight starts falling off I will be on a roll.  I already see a difference in 4 days.  :)  YAY!!  Happy Tuesday to all.  How was everyones three day weekend.  Mine was just a normal weekend.

Phentermine..Share your story..

For those of you that are on or have been on phentermine please share with me what you have lost and how you felt on phentermine.  I am currently on my 4th day of taking it.  I really like the energy it gives me.  But would love to hear some good/bad stories about it. :)
