Hello Again.
Wow... I forgot about the blog... that kinda makes it useless. Sorry about that.
Walk Across Texas was not what I expected... not super helpful... I actually gained weight. Kept telling myself... you are doing walk across texas...its OK to eat more. It will all "balance" out... and I gained 10 lbs.
Since then... I have lost 8... so I am almost back where i started.
Ughhh.

Starting Something
Today... I want to start something... I want to lose weight. I have done it before, but usually at the first signs of success, I reward myself with over eating.
My reasons: I want to be a better me. I want to be healthier. I can feel the effects my weight has on me. I want to be happier. I don't like the large me that I seen in the mirror. I want to be someone my nephew can look up to as a positive role model.
Why now? Well, for the second year in a row, I am taking part in my office's walk across Texas event. Over 12 weeks, my teammates and I will together walk the distance across Texas. Last year over did it and sprained my knee severely... making the last few weeks hard. This year, I am going to be safer and smarter. I figure this will be a good starting point to a habit. They say it takes 21 days to start a habit. I am looking forward to starting a healthy habit.
I am hoping this blog will provide me with a way to keep up with my progress... vent my frustrations... and share my celebrations.
So here goes nothing...
