Before After

revise

From the very start. What i did this last month since i started dieting. This is a revise for my goals.

1. Talk to someone about my problems: Yes, i went to see a doctor and learned that it's ok, can happen to anyone and started using depression medicine. It really helped me a lot in these past weeks. I feel better.
2. Do the freelance job: Nope. I couldn't manage to finish it. And the doctor told me not to worry about anything but just myself at the moment. So i gave it up. But i talked with them and explan my situation and said i am sorry. Well, it was a relieve anyway.
3. Do something for uni: I didn't have any power to start for my dissertation. But i managed to talk to my program director, got a letter from the doctor and gave it to him. So, instead of doing nothing i took some action. And the type that suits me better for the moment. Soon i'll have enough power to return daily life and i already feel better which is the most important thing.
4. Love myself: yep. I started to appriciate myself better and i actually am more happy with myself than a month ago.
5. Stop running away from people: Better. I still have a way to go but i started to explain my situation to people whom i love, which feels better.
6. Eat regularly, sleep regularly: Yep. Although i have a gap in the days that i have been ill, i certainly started to do that. Depression medicine helped with sleeping of course.
7. Write a cv, find a new job: This was my goal for after returning to UK. So we'll see how it goes when i return back from my country. I still have money problems, hope i ll solve them eventually.
8. Start doing exercise, at least walk: Yep. I am walking regularly which helps me a lot both with diet and depression.
9. Loose weight: Yep, i'll talk about my loosing weight goals later but i really lost some weight which i am very happy about.
10. Overall don't panic: Yep. I am better definetely. I feel more confident already and i am sure i'll feel better later.

So not bad, is it? It's unbelieveable but keeping a daily blog helped me a lot. It's not only i started talking to my self and checking the progression, but also support from other people. So i would very much like to thank u (lol, i felt like i am in a talk show or something =p) all and also to my friends in my daily life for being there for me. Lol, it feels kinda funny to write something like this, but i won't stop it    =p

Anyway, my diet progression is for another post. x

Journaling

I have been a journaler for a long time now.  I have a paper-journal that I write my most private thoughts and emotions.  I've had a Xanga journal for almost 2 years, and just recently started "blogging" on myspace instead of there.

I have always found that writing my thoughts got them out of my head, and to a place where I could look at them, understand them, and do something about them.

It's such a powerful thing!  Keep writing!! Don't be embarrassed about what you say.  Don't think about who is reading.  We're here for you in the right way. :)

Keep going with your goals.  They are all very admirable, and you're doing so amazing!.  ((Hugs)) for ya!

Very good

Writing down your goals is a nice way to keep track of progress and it keeps you motivated too. And when there isn't much progress, you can always read them over and see what to change. Good luck in achieving all your goals gal!
