I ran
Gahh I just ran ten minutes on the treadmil! That probably doesn't sound like much but For me it's huge!! I weight 300lbs and yea i'm 21 but I've never been a runner...even in my thinner days! So in other words i'm excited by my little triumph! Yay!!

Cardio
Ok so my cousin and I switched up our workouts for this month and added cardio. Let me tell ya.. wow! After the first 15 minutes I was drenched in sweet!! It was gross but also very awesome! We did an hour or cardio and about 20 min on abs! I enjoyed it all in all, mainly because its not the same ol thing we did last month! I'm liking the change.

Month one progress and plan
Ok so both my cousin Bree and I did pretty well on our first month progress checkin! I personaly have lost 23lbs in this month. I've also lost an inch off my hips, and a wopping 2 inches of my waist! So all in all I'd say we both did well! However I know that if I am ever going to be able to fully keep this weight off and reach my goals
In this month I've built dedication for my goals, firmed my body, helped get my body more physicaly fit and takled things I didn't think I'd be able to do for a few more weeks (such as a push up). However if I am ever going to be able to keep this weight off and reach my goals, I'm going to need to work on my diet. I didn't stress it this month and allowed myself to eat what I craved so that I wouldn't get burnt out and quit. But From today on I need to slowly wing myself into healthier eatting habbits. So this month I'm giving up soda (sodas the main reason i got so big). I've done this once before and stayed away from it for 5 months.. so I know I can survive without it! I'm also going to limit my sweets intake. I probably eat something desert related every 4 days.. but nope I'm going to only allow myself to eat a desert item on saturdays (only one). If I have an unbearable craving I will give myself a Kosher yogurt. I'm also going to increase my fruit and veggie intake, which my help curb my sugar cravings. In october I'm going to get more sever with my diet but for now I think this shall help me.
I wrote a goal list when we first started our plan so here it is..
October 1st (320lbs/ 30lbs loss) December 1st(300/ 50lbs loss)
Febuary 1st (280/ 70lbs loss)
April 1st (260/ 90lbs loss)
June 1st (240/ 110lbs loss)
August 1st Yr2(220/ 130lbs lss) October 1st(200/ 150lbs loss)
December 1st (180/ 170lbs lss) Febuary 1st 2010 (160/190lbs lost..yay)

One month mark
I'm getting ready to workout with my cousin right now. Today marks our one month into our plan. That's so exciting! We'll change our workout and make it a tad harder. Its also weigh in and measurement time. I'll post the results later! I hope I did good!

A little off track
Well today has been a little odd. My workout partner texted me this morning to cancel todays workout. Which meant I was on my own! So I ran for a bit and then opted to just do some dancing cardio (my favorite way to workout). I'm proud that I stuck with it and didn't just say “ehh.. i'll workout tomorrow”! But I'm still going to have to do double tomorrow to stay on track!
I still havn't eatten today because I need to go shopping! So I'm off to go do just that!
Tomorrow.. back on track!

It's been awhile
I feel bad for not posting much but I'm going to try and change that!
So originaly I had started a diet/excercising plan with a friend of mine, well that kind of paned through! We both had gotten new jobs and it just wasn't working! But I now (and going on 4 weeks) have been working out with my cousin Bree. Alot of our mutual friends attend these sessions but for the most part it's just us two! We do alot of core strengthening. I've never worked out this way before. Usually I just but a new fun looking workout video (such as taebo..is that how it's spelled?..or Turbo Jam) and start sweating and getting my heart pounding. But with this new plan we switch off on leg and arm activities everyday and do abs everyday. The first day I worked out it was so painful! I hurt for 3 days!! It's not like that anymore..yay!
Most of our activities are on a workour ball (those things are so much fun) and lunges... lunges...lunges! Lets just say i'm not a fan of lunges.
Anyway I'm really excited about it all! I've lost ten lbs in the past 3 weeks. Which isn't as much as i'm use to (in the past ive lost 20 lbs in my first month of excercising by doing aerobics daily.. but I don't know how healthy thay is). Plus I've been toneing up wonderfully! And muscle! I'm getting muscle!! Its amazing!
Diet wise I havn't give up much. I eat when i'm hungry. I eat what I crave just in smaller portions. The only real difference is I've given up soda and i'm allowing myself to eat chicken (I'd been a vegetarian for 5 years... causing me to gain 75lbs) so I can loose weight. I want to slowly change my diet because I don't want to get burnt out!
So Yay cheers to muscles!

Day 3 and going strong
Well I woke up sore all over, but its the kind of sore that makes you proud! I ate a poptart for breakfest for lack of time to make something healthy, and I've had a lean cuise for lunch. I got on the scale a bit ago and turns out ive lost 4 lbs in three days! So thats exciting. Tonight i'm going to teach someone to sew and do dance areobics!

Okay round 2
So I kinda fell off track with my last diet. I went on an 8 day trip to disneyland with my cousin and well completly let everything go out the window! But I did get to eat at the blue bayou, which was an amazing experience. But it's Febuary 07 of 2008 and its time to get the figure I want, the health I need and the life I deserve! So I've made a pact with my blonde counterpart to loose weight (40 lbs for me) by May of this year for a convention!
We're planing on getting together every night after work to workout! We've done it the past two nights. The first night was ohmygod painful.... we did a 20 min workout by health magazine (that took longer than 20 min..lol.. ), a ten min walk outside and did some weights. Tonight we did turbojams 20 min workout, a ten min walk and some weights. Tonights felt really good after the workout! I was all sweaty but I felt awake and accomplished! We both have different diet plans though. About a month ago I decided to (after talking to a nutritionist) put a hold on being a vegetarian, im going to allow myself to eat chicken and fish to loose weight. I hope to one day be able to go back to it but if I want to not get diebities in the next two years this is how its got to be. It was a really hard decision and very personal.. I cried when I ate my first piece of meat in 5 and a half years! So my goal is to kick my awful soda addiction, eat a little less dairy, drink more water, stay away from sweets, and eat veggies, fruits and chicken.
Oh I really hope we stay with this plan and it works! Wish us luck!

My first have you lost weight!?
Well Its day 3 for me, I'm still going strong!! I woke up a tad early to allow myself more time to excersise. I felt a bit more energetic, and like I could do a bit more then on day one! Which is amazing!! Plus my brother (not knowing i'm on a diet/excersise plan) asked me if I had lost weight!!! Ha!! It made my day. Its probably way to early to be able to see a difference but stil it was cool to hearl!!
I just feel very driven.. so this is all very exciting!!

Yay day one done!!
So day one was definatly a sucess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got a late start though ( heh.. I woke up at noon .. mainly because I was up till 4 am the night prior discovering this site and making my weight loss plan). But I definatly made up for it by doing dance areobics for 40 minutes (its been awhile since i've gotten any excersise), which was atually alot of fun.. the last five minutes was tuff but i pulled through!! Then I headed off to work for an 8 hour shift (i'm a barista.. so its an on my feet kind of job). I purpously did the more rigurous closing duties .. heh!! Plus I stuck to my meal plan and i've had 10 cups of water... I measured.. i never do that!! Ahh I'm so excited!!
I also passed up a chocolate doughnut at work.. and I avoid coffee drinks (oh... that was tuff..!!! ) !!
So I hope I'm just as sucessful in the days to come!
