Before After

10 lb challenge

Today I am challenging myself to lose 10 pounds in the month of July. I was at 190... then summer hit... and have gained back about 8 pounds. :(

My goal: lose 10 pounds, drink lots more water, no fast food, get my butt in action and go to the gym

I will have my official weigh-in each tuesday night.

Been a While

It has been quite a while since my last posting. Life got stressful and to be completely honest... I kinda lost track of my healthy ways. But I am back again to make it better. I have only gained about 4 pounds back in the 2 months so I feel that is not bad. I hope you all are keeping steady! Not much time to write for now... but I will leave you with this current picture! This was from last night... I completed one of my 101 things to do in 1001 days... Country/Western dancing! I had sooo much fun and I really want to learn how to get better at it!

frustrated

I am frustrated with my eating... I need to get back on track....

I can do it, just baby steps....

Ok, i feel better now :)

Have a great day!

As of now *Pics*

As of now, I did not reach my 185 by April 2... I am at 190. That is ok, I am not going to let it get me down. This is not a race by any means. I am very proud of how far I have come so far... and I know that I will reach my goal weight of 155-160 in just a matter of time. I was looking through my pictures and am very excited of the progress that I have made... take a look...

These pictures were taken in the first week of december of 2007

And here we are now on April 6, 2008

I definately can tell a difference!

ugh!

is it possible to gain like 5 pounds in a week?! Man! Spring break was so awesome but gaining 5 pounds is not.... I gotta work extra hard to lose that again plus the 6 more to reach my goal of 185 by april 2. Wish me luck...

One Month From Yesterday

In a month from yesterday, which will be April 2 (My 21st Brthday!), I would like to weigh 185 pounds. That means that I must lose 10 pounds in one month. Wish me luck.

I plan to achieve this by doing cardio every single day no matter what... no exscuses. Also, I have started weight watchers last week so I plan on sticking to that as closely as possible... no exscuses. Spring break is in the middle of this one month journey and I will need to stay strong so that I can reach the 185!

Do any of ya'll have any more tips to help lose this 10 pounds in a month?

10 pounds by April 2

My new goal is to lose 10 pounds by my 21st birthday on April 2! That would put me at 185. I just started weight watchers yesterday and I am getting very consistant with going to the gym. It will be a challenge but I bet I can do it!

Weight Watchers

So, I have been doing a lot of thinking and came to the conclusion that my eating habits were taking a turn for the worse...

I have justsigned up with weight watchers online to help control my eating. I tried it last year and had great success until I began living with a pregnant woman (bad idea if you enjoy little debbie snack cakes as much as her). I have decided to do it again becuase I really need to get back on track. I signed up for 3 months so I should be set for a while.

I have a request though... do any of yall know any low point snack foods that are easy to keep in a dorm room? I dont really get to do any cooking so its hard for me. What are yalls thoughts?

New Respect for SWIMMERS

I totally got my butt kicked at the gym this morning (6:30 AM) by my trainer. We went swimming for the first time and WOW... it was a nice wake up call! Swimming is soooooo hard lol. I went in thinking "oh, this should be easy" but wow, i was totally wrong. I could barely swim 3 laps! By the end of our 45 min. session, i was very, very, very exhausted.

Kudos to all swimmers cause that stuff seriously works you out! If you have not tried swimming... give it a try... youll get the workout of your life! Just make sure you eat something before hand, I learned that this morning.
