Hello everyone!! Just letting you know I am still alive LOL!
I haven't had much free time to get on here lately, between work, family stress and pregnancy exhaustion etc....
Anyways... I'm doing ok, and Baby seems fine in there. I have my 20 week scan on Wednesday & should hopefully find out baby's sex then too.
My hip has been a nightmare. I've been in too much pain to drive, and walking for more than 5 minutes sees me holding on to stuff in pain & I am generally feeling exhausted.
I went for Acupuncture on Monday & that definitely seemed to help. I felt 80% better until yesterday, it's pretty much back to square one now though. I'm back for more acupuncture on Monday though. Gotta love the NHS - it's FREE!!
I'm still giving myself the Heparin injections, and still covered in bruises from them. But as I keep telling myself... it's worth it if it means baby is healthy & I don't get DVT.
The Scan on Wed will hopefully rule out most of the other health issues my sisters have, and then I'm hoping to feel confident enough to start shopping for our new arrival. (We've not bought anything yet)!!
Eating has been a bit chaotic, as we've had no oven for over 2 weeks, so it's not been as healthy as i'd have liked. Not to worry - it's fixed now & I'll be eating a better diet from this point onwards.
I doubt I'll be able to catch up on all the blogs I have missed, but please give me an update of anything important I've missed these past 2 weeks.
Feel free to place your bets on what sex the baby is too... as far as the old wives tales go... my bump is all front and baby's heart rate is 156BPM. I had horrible morning sickness too.
All the signs point to girl, but I am still calling bump "him" lol!!

to hear that all is going well for you and the "little one" ... how exciting is Wednesday going to be?
I am hedging my bets on a boy .. don't know why and I will probably be wrong but am going to stick with a boy.
So glad the accupuncture is working for you ... with the added bonus of being free! Never tried it but hear that it can work wonders!
Lovely to hear from you and hope you can spend the rest of your pregnancy taking it easy and chilling (after the baby arrives you might not get too much time for yourself hee hee), but it will all be sooooo worth it! What could be more magical?
OUCH! I had a problem with all three of my babys where my left hip bone would turn backwards and this little bone inside the hip would turn forwards.. painful to just walk a few feet, that is the reason i gained so much weight..
Im beating on a girl if your calling your bump a him.. LOL..
I was all front. Never sick, but kept a stack of ginger biccies in my pocket for "those" moments. No idea on heart rate Girl, girl, girl .....
............. sorry to hear your hip is giving you such gyp though :(
I didn't buy anything, nothing, nada ..... until I was 32 weeks .... ah, actually, except for cloth nappies .... I bought one a week since about 25wks .... but, at 32 wks .... panicked, LOL ..... mind you, I moved 200 odd miles when I was 37wks .....
Good luck with the scan, fingers firmly crossed that bubs plays ball and points in the right direction first time round :)
