Week 1

Today is the first day of week 1 in the 6 weeks I have pledged to the Body Makeover Program.

I am ready for this to start. Beginning weight is 158. First thing in the AM weigh in. I will weigh again on Saturday Morning.                 I had a completely off plan weekend, Ate horrably. Didnt get my water in or anything. This should make for an interesting first week of detox again.  The headach is usually the worst.

I am starting a paperclip chain for every day OP and every pound lost. I am looking at this being motivational. I also have posted this saying all over at work and on the fridge at home:

There is a difference between interest and commistment.

When you are interested in doing something, you do it only when circumstances permit.

When you are committed to something you accept NO EXCUSES, ONLY RESULTS!!!!

This is my commitment!! NO EXCUSES< ONLY RESULTS!!!!!

Feeling Pretty Good Today!!

I am positive and ready to get on track with the programs!! I am first off and formost doing the 6WBMO program. I am a member of the Anne Collins support site and she has an awsome Diet for Life. I am implementing many of the recepies there to the BMO program.  I also still have my Curves membership. So I am going to do the 3 days a week there too!! I love the people and the support & social environment there!! My date to go POP is Monday October 9th. I am going to prepare and set my goals up. I will post those as soon as I have them structured. That will be a great motivation too!! Weekly goals and rewards !!

New commitment

I am going to make a new commitment!! Not only to myself but to you!! I am going to wprk the program!! I have been toying with weightloss programs for a year now! I dont know what worked and what didnt because I have never stuck to one long enough to see the true results that were possible. I now have the Michael Therman 6 week body makeover. I lost 14lbs and 13.5 inches in the first 6 weeks. I fell off the POP (Perfect on Plan) after 3 week on this one too! BUT....Look at the results even with falling off!! What could I ave done if I had taken it seriousely?!!

I need to commit! I need to do 6 weeks! It is a 6week makeover. If I am going to truly know what it has in store I need to do it for real and not let my usual thing happen.

There is a difference between interest and commitment.

When you are interested in doing something, you do it only when circumstances permit!

When you are committed to somethin you accept no excuses, only reults!!!!!

These are the words I need to learn to live by!!!

Continued

I at this point was maintaining my weight and in the first month lost 7lbs. I was very excited. For the next 2month I struggled. Gaining that 7 back plus. I decided exercise was not going to be enough. My quit has killed my metabolism and I was going to have to do the dreaded D.I.E.T. not to gain weight this time but to loose. I had no Idea where to start. My first diet was the South Beach. That alsted maybe a week due to the "I will die with out fruit and bread" attitued. I do not do depravation very well I actually will hyper focus on what I cannot have. That was a huge challange when I quit smoking too! I went from there to this neat program I found called The ABS Diet. It looked great. Eat 6X a day. Menues and everything. My body liked it so much I gained more weight on this diet!!! OOOPPS!! I then decided the Curves Diets were a good Idea. I am sure they work but true to my nature I did nt follow them long and had a hard time subsituting when it came to eatting fish or tuna.

Lets get this Party started!!

I had such a fantastic post and it just disappeared when I went to post it!! I am very sad that I lost it! Now I am going to start again and it wont be as articulate I just know it

Lets start at the beginning with a little history on my situation. I had always been thin. All of my life I was told I looked sick. Accused of an eatting disorder or using drugs. It was not the case ever. I always had a high metabolism and tried to gain weight. Ispent most of my life at the top weight of 120. That was not prego. I then turned 30!! The metablism slowed down a few failed attempts at quitting smoking.........the weigh crept on. That was great to me as I had tried for so long to get that to happen. Then July 29th 2004 I did the, what I thought< impossible and really quit smoking. At that point the weight did more than creap. By November I had gained 30 lbs and the holidays were looming ahead of me. I decided that with the money I was saving not buying cigs I would join Curves.
