Never Say Diet Again
I am reading this total life transforming book…(the Bible) yes but, I am talking about another book, Never say Diet Again by Chantel hobbs www.changelhobbs.com..:
Anyhoo…this book , this lady , is incredible.
And as of today, I have worked out 3 times this week….it is my goal each day to move again and not sit idle watching others get healthier when I can do it J
Anyhoo…I wanted to share a piece of my book today….:
"The thing about pain is that it's temporary, whereas the pride of accomplishment is permanent. It's like pregnancy and giving birth. It's uncomfortable and hurts, but he unspeakable joy of meeting each of my children in the delivery room somehow transformed the pain into peak moments—all the sweeter because of the anticipation and final arrival. When I feel pain after an incredibly tough run or Spinning session, it reminds me of the great thing I accomplished. And one thing I know from experience is that the pain of regret is far worse than the pain of discipline.
ONE of the great things about any process of positive transformation is that the longer you do it and avoid temptations to quit, the more you have invested in not failing." Chantel Hobbs page 72, Never Say Diet Again
I LOVED this part and wanted to remind you my friends and family, the pain of regret is far worse than the pain of discipline.
This can be used in every area of our lives.
Love you,
Tami

Today's food
OK i figured one sure way to stay accountable and really get a good look at my foods is by blogging my foods...
today, i had a bowl of special K with 2 sweet n lows, fat free milk and a bananna.
then lunch:
big salad (greens) brocolli; tomatoes; cucumbers; carrots; and italian dressing.
2 mini burgers plain
and dinner i'm having this turkey and chicken queso soup i made with a small portion of fritoes.
not sure about snack for this evening, probably grapes :)
i feel good today and i hope you do to my friends.

A little about me :)
OK, This December 30th will be my 3rd year without my mama, she died at the young age of 64. (Dec 30, 2004)
She had diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol etc...the list goes on, her kidneys failed and she was well over 280 lbs at 5 ft short.
OK, i am now 39...MY Goodness....and at the time of mama's death, i was 200 lbs or more :(
it shocked me ...i truly think i even gave up. Just lived fat for a while.
UNTIL YES....i found out i was prediabetic...and high blood pressure....so, here i sit 177 lbs, i was 200 and i am going to lose until i'm healthier, fitter and happier with how i feel :)
tell me your stories friends :)

You're Right
The users here are friendly :) tee hee
thanks..i think i finally now have my weight changed.
so....today i picked up bob Greene's Get with the program book, so lots to read and i'm excited because...i have already lost from 210 to now 177 and i gave up for a while....but, no more :)
it's time to finish....so, i start clean slate 177 and my goal...i say is 130 but, let me tell you, i am not so focused on numbers as i am as to how i feel. MY goal is to be smaller, healthier, fitter....mostly feel good....
so, onward we go...today i reached my goal of eating healthier and smaller portions and yes...8 glasses of water :)
love to you all...

Okkkkkk
today, November 23rd, i stumbled here....and i am glad...but it sure is frustrating to get all done to my blogs and site...it's not very user friendly.
so for the record, my weight now is 177 and my goal in time ...is 130 and just focusing 5 lbs at a time, it shows my weight differently and right now it's showing today as the 24th and it's not...it's 11:30 Central time 23rd...ughhhh
