Never Say Diet Again

I am reading this  total life transforming book…(the Bible) yes but, I am talking about another book, Never say Diet Again by Chantel hobbs www.changelhobbs.com..:

Anyhoo…this book , this lady , is incredible.

And as of today, I have worked out 3 times this week….it is my goal each day to move again and not sit idle watching others get healthier when I can do it J

Anyhoo…I wanted to share a piece of my book today….:

"The thing about pain is that it's temporary, whereas the pride of accomplishment is permanent. It's like pregnancy and giving birth. It's uncomfortable and hurts, but he unspeakable joy of meeting each of my children in the delivery room somehow transformed the pain into peak moments—all the sweeter because of the anticipation and final arrival.  When I feel pain after an incredibly tough run or Spinning session, it reminds me of the great thing I accomplished. And one thing I know from experience is that the pain of regret is far worse than the pain of discipline.

ONE of the great things about any process of positive transformation is that the longer you do it and avoid temptations to quit, the more you have invested in not failing." Chantel Hobbs page 72, Never Say Diet Again

I LOVED this part and wanted to remind you my friends and family, the pain of regret is far worse than the pain of discipline.

This can be used in every area of our lives.

Love you,

Tami

Thanks!

Thanks for sharing that quote from your book.  It really made sense to me.  Its so easy find excuses not to exercise or to eat sensibly but in the end the difference in the way i feel overweight and out of shape compared to how I feel as im getting more fit and healthy blows any feelings i have about food and exercise outta the water!
