Before After

hungry as a hostage

How is everyone doing? Hope this finds you all well...

Today was productive. Worked all day, went to meeting after work and now my hubby and kiddo-s are home. It started pouring rain where they were camping and they were miserable so they came home a day early. It's okay. though. I was kind of missing them...ridiculous, I know. But this big house sure has been quiet. The TV hasn't been on since Sunday!! I can say the volume is loud enough to wake my naked neighbor.

So, this evening I stop at McDonald's to eat a salad before my meeting. I am sitting there and this dirty kid comes running in from the outside playground, sticks his dirty little paws IN MY SALAD and eats it!! WTH?? Where's your parents, Fido?

His mom comes over there and looks at me, "I'm not paying for that."

I wouldn't imagine so. Your kid has the manners of a Neanderthal. I can see he gets that from you.

Has the world lost its mind? I know kids do things. Really, I do. I have 3. But what in the world gives someone the right to even say that to someone when your kid is in the wrong? A friggin' 7 year old at that? With his dirty paws, (I could see dirt under his long nails) eating my salad like he is a hungry hostage from some 3rd World Country!!!!

For the love of tiny baby Jesus....make the bad man go away!!!

"Up yours, Medusa."

Oh my god!

Hi there...Fell upon your entry.

I just absolutely refuse to believe what you just wrote! That is the most revolting tale of human existence I have heard since I forgot the last revolting tale I was told! I LOVE how she just came up to YOU and said that. Didn't even wait for you to yell at her. I bet that has happened to her many times before.

I would have complained to management.

Yours,

<3Bridget.

Holy snot!!!

That's a jaw dropper for sure!!!  Wow, there's just not even words, huh?

What?!

That's so messed up.  I would be mortified if Tatum even CONSIDERED doing that.  And if she so happened to put her life on the line like that, I sure would have apologized and bought you a new salad.  And yes, Tatum would have been beaten within inches of her life when we got home.....hence, putting her life on the line.  (Okay, DHS, we don't really beat our child....very often.)

Oh, but...

Good for you for choosing a salad!

What a biatch!!!

Sadly, what happened to y ou is indicative of what's happening to our country as a whole.  People refusing to take responsibility.  Don't even get me started on that!!

you've got to be kidding

you run into the craziest situations!  I would have been in total shock.  Glad your family is back.....I know what you mean about being in a big house by yourself.....

I Think so

The world has defitnitely gone nuts!

Thank you.

Thank you for your kind words on my blog.  I hope you don't mind me adding you to my 'friends' list.  Good luck to you!

GrOsS!!!

I read your blogs for a smile from time to time, and let me just say... YUCK!  I would have bought you a new salad too!

Amazing

.... simply amazing.

I don't know why, but it doesn't even surprise me nowdays.  As a fellow parent, I *would* have bought you a new salad and made my kid pay me back for it out of his money.  Oh yessireeeeee.... sick, that's just sick.

Thanks for visiting and cheering me on this week hon.  Glad you enjoyed your peace and quiet for a few days!!

Oh no you didn't!

Snap!  There's no way.... that is so wrong!  Good Lord, no wonder you were about at ropes end when you were at work the next day!!!  It's easy to say I would've marched that woman up and demanded a new salad, but I'm a coward. lol.  The kids behavior was unacceptable - but the Mom's was even worse!  I would have been appalled!  And yes, I would have bought you a new salad, but hello, it's called parenting - that should have never happened in the first place, and it does sound like it's happened before.  That woman needs Supernanny; probably more for her than even the kid!
