Want a good workout? Jump on the treadmill when your man PISSES YOU OFF!
People say make up sex is the best workout...well, I beg to differ. Exercising when your mate pisses you off tops make-up sex for calorie burn! I'm tired of the games, drama and lies and I told myself yesterday that if "he" didn't follow through with the plans he made last night, I was DONE! Needless to say, last night came and went and once again, his actions didn't match his words. SO..... rather than sitting home and getting upset, I'm gonna get better! My dad once told me the best revenge is to improve your condition so when that man who's wronged you sees you again, it will resonate that its HIS LOSS! My goal today: take that anger and hit the treadmill!!!
Ok, now that I got that out of my system.... Its been 15 days since I started back on my weight loss journey and I must say, I am pleased with my new found determination to succeed. I got on the scale today, and even with the monthly bloating from my visit from "Little Red Riding Hood". I managed to drop 2 more pounds! As of today, Im at 180! Yes, this is a lot of weight for a 5'1" frame. but considering the fact that I peaked at 189 about 3 weeks ago, I'm estactic!
My Dr. prescribed Adderall for adult ADD symptons and it has worked wonders with helping me focus and stop procrastinating. This alone has helped motivate me to get on my treadmill daily and PUSH myself harder. The fact that the meds also eliminate almost all my appetite is an added bonus. I am not starving myself at all. I eat breakfast, which is usually a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios and for lunch maybe a turkey sandwich or a ceasar salad. Dinner is a turkey burger or fish, chicken or whatever. I have NO cravings for sweets and even with my monthly curse, I manage to eat sugar free jello or pudding when I absolutely must have a snack and with that, I am satisfied.
It helps that I was blessed with a small waist, so although my weight is up, I still maintain a nice figure. I'm up to an hour a day on the treadmill for 6 days a week, and this has helped me tone my stomach and legs already! My knee seems a lot stronger after undergoing ACL surgery last month, and I guess I can thank the treadmill for that as well. I bought a ton of size 12 and 1 size 14 cute short winter skirts off Ebay and can barely get into any of them! I REFUSE to buy anything above size 14 and I'm disappionted that I can't get into my customary size 12. Hopefully I will be comfortably in the size 12s by October 31, but my ULTIMATE goal is to stay at a size 10. Wish me luck!
I'm ashamed to say, but I haven't been on here because I truly "fell off the wagon". Honestly, the years of dieting and taking diet pills have caught up with me, and its now become harder than ever to lose the weight. Not to mention the fact that I fell down the stairs at work last April and tore my ACL which led to knee surgery 3 weeks ago. All this has left me at my highest weight ever and prompted me to realize that the only way for me to lose the weight once and for all is to exercise and eat better. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO here I am into day 4 of a new low-carb way of eating. I can't do much by way of exercising until the doc releases me from his care, but I started walking my development to strengthen my knee and get more mobile. Gosh, I have been off this site for so long that I actually had forgotten my login info. Well, I'm back, bigger, but more determined than ever to get fit.

Cheatin Like Crazy
I haven't been here in a while because I've been busy as ever. I started working out maybe 2 months ago just walking the treadmill a few days a week while my daughters practice cheerleading at the community center. I was doing well too: I managed to get up to walkin 4 miles in 1 hour and I was feeling great!! The problem is EVERYONE in my family's birthday is in March!! Not to mention February is litterd with Valentine's Day. Both months always seem to knock me off the wagon when I'm dieting!! :(
I'd actually held at 160 up until the week of March 4 ( my birthday) when I went to Papadeax ( a GREAT Louisiana style restaurant) and I ate, and ate, and ate!!! Not to mention the mango dacquiri I had coupled with the amazing crawfish and shrimp fondue!!! And all that was just before the main course!!) Needless to say, I'm payin for it now. I weighed myself today and I'm back up to 164 pounds. To top it off, FINALLY found my wedding gown I'd been searchin throughout the US and UK for as which was a style that had been recently discontinued.....I ordered it this past Tuesday and it came yesterday!! I screamed when I put it on because its shape-fitting and I REFUSE to wear a girdle or to have it let out!!
This means war!!I'm on spring break the nest 2 weeks and I plan to get on that treadmill or my eliptical machine at home everyday. I may not get down to 135 pounds and that's ok. I'll settle for 150 and lookin fabulous when I walk down the aisle in the fall.
Its been several weeks since I've been here ( mainly due to the few "extras" I've been sneeking into my diet! !!
After getting off to a GREAT start ( losing 7 pounds or so the first week), I am now only down 3 more. Its been since October 17 that I began this "official" diet program, and having lost 10 pounds in just over a month is FINE WITH ME!! I'm a bit disappointed, however, since my fiend who told me about the "Fat Dr." that I'm seeing lost a whopping 15 pounds her first month. She did walk 30 minutes a day in addition to taking the Adipex and eating just 1000 calories per day.
I guess getting strep throat last week was a good thing after all since it helped me shed the last 3 pounds I needed for the month! Let's hope with Thanksgiving just 2 days away and me visiting my grandmother for some good old fashion southern cooking won't make all that effort last month in vain!!
I GOTTA LOSE MORE POUNDS THIS MONTH to be on track!!!
One week has passed and I can't believe I'm down to 165 from 172!!! I'm excited and ready to stick this out and make it work this time!! My hope is to drop at least 15 pounds this first month so when I go back to Dr. Bass November 17 he'll just be SHOCKED!!
I guess this proves that the stuff I thought I was getting online wasn't exactly adipex. I feel a HUGE difference in my appetite now as opposed to when I was taking the stuff I got online. The pills even look different this time. I've been a phentermine user off and on for the past 10 years or so, but when I started getting the stuff online I didn't see quite the same results as when I got my meds at the pharmacy. This time I was certain to request brand name adipex and not generic to see if my hunch was correct. My mouth is soooooooooooooo dry with this stuff, and I am up every few hours at night- unlike before with the online meds. Also, I never managed to control my appetite to the point where I could be satisfied with just 1000 calories a day on the online phentermine. Whather the difference, I now know I need to be certain I get the brand name adipex p each time if I want to continue to see results.
I can't wait to see my fiance' again when he gets a break from the the military! Hopefully he will be able to tell I've shed a few pounds by then! My goal is to wow him next spring or summer when I walk down the aisle at our wedding! I hope to be down to 135 by then!!! I haven't weighed that since pre-baby days!! ( roughly 15 years ago!!) He's never seen me that small. WISH ME LUCK!!!
Well, its been 4 days since I visited the "fat doctor" here in Newnan, Georgia and he prescribed adipex p for me. I've been on phenteremine off and on now for the past 10 years or so, and I think my body has built up a resistance to it. I usually order it online, the last time being 3 months ago. The prices online are great-but I think the medication isn't quite the same as you'd find at a local pharmacy. The reason I say this is because I took the first adipex pill on Sunday, just 2 days ago, when I'd been taking the mail-order phenteremine for the past few months. I could tell a difference in how I felt Sunday as opposed to the days before, and yet, adipex and phenteremine are supposed to be essentially the same medication.
Sunday night I tossed and turned as was up most of the night. I had a dull headache, and I noticed that at 9:00 PM I was getting hungry again-exactly 12 hours after I'd taken the pill. Unlike on the phenteremine, I was able to eat a small serving of unsweetened apple sauce and that satisfied my hungry and helped me make it through the night.
Its only been 4 days since Dr. Bass put me on the 1000 calorie diet, but already I can tell a difference. The scale says I've gone from 172 to 168- but I think I'll wait to get on the scale in the doctor's office when I go back next month to see a more accurate result. WISH ME LUCK!!
I'll be getting married in the spring or summer or 2007 (depending on when the military will allow my fiance' the time off). I can't be a fat bride!! In fact, my maid of honor is undergoing gastric bipass TODAY to lose weight. Cross your fingers and hope this works!!!
