Before After

Size 18 to a size 8!

I am utterly proud of myself! I am down exactly 40 POUNDS and have gone from a size 18 to a size 8. SIZE EIGHT! I put on my ‘goal jeans‘ the other day and they were kind of snug. I thought that I had eaten a bit more than I thought I had over the weekend, then 3 hours later of wearing these jeans…. I was changing to go for my workout and looked at the tag. Size EIGHT baby! Size 8 Calvin Klein jeans that I haven’t been able to wear since 2006 after I lost all my weight from having my son. June 2010; size 18

Last weekend, February 26, 2011; size 8!

OH YEAH! OH YEAH! OH YEAH! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

My fitness coach would like me to be 115-125 pounds, but for 5ft 7in, that's entirely too small for my height.

I started out in June at 199.8 pounds. This morning.... 162.0! I set mini goals; I started out for every 5 pounds, I would reward myself with something like a new pair of workout pants or a workout top. Then I moved to every 10 pounds. I am currently in the normal range for my BMI, but I'd love to see myself at 150 pounds, so I have 2 pounds to get out of the 160's (2nd to my last goal), then 10 more pounds to be at 150. That's only 12 more pounds! I can do it! I WILL DO IT! Weight Watchers shows that for my height, my healthy range is 128 - 160. Hey, I'm almost there! I had my 2nd to last goal set for March 9th. I can totally lose 2 pounds by then! Not if ... when I lose 2 pounds, to get me in the 150's, I will be taking myself to get a mani & pedi to prep for a busy week of traveling! Ah heck, I think I'll buy myself a new outfit too! What is my reward for getting to 150, my final goal? I think that goal is the reward. I will have a check-up with my fitness coach and see what my overall numbers look like and if I am healthy at 150, I will maintain that weight, otherwise I will shoot for 10 more. Overall, I am pleased with myself! I've come a long way!

Persistence, motivation, dedication, and hard work DOES pays off. :yahoo:

If you are working to lose weight, don’t give up! You CAN do it!

New Year & holding steady!

This holiday was so chaotic & stressful for myself & my family. I lost my granddaddy in Texas just a few weeks ago. I am thankful to have been able to see him in the hospital before he passed a few days later. Two trips to Texas in a week was hard, but I managed to get by and here we are in a new year, new plans, new goals. New goals? Actually, I have the same goals I had just a few months ago; I am proud to say. I am down 35.2 pounds since I started my weightloss journey in August 2010. Not too bad, if I say so myself! I have been on my elliptical as much as my body lets me. I skipped most of December since I was traveling to TX most of the month, but I am very VERY proud to say that I did not gain anything over the holidays - not an OUNCE! I stayed steady at the 166 range, but this morning, I weighed in at 164.8, so YAY ME!!!! My official weigh in is on January 25th, so let's get up, get moving, keep eating better & get these last few pounds off before Spring. My goal is 150. That would be a perfect weight for my height {5 ft 7 in}, but my 'public realistic BMI shows me in the 120's. IMO, that's too thin for my height. My personal goal is 150; maybe 140's, and that would put me where I was at just before I got pregnant with Kambry. Hell, that would put me smaller than I was in 2000. My motivation is pretty damn high, so watch out world!

Back at it .. again! But doing GREAT!!

I haven't been on Extrapounds.com in a while. I have been busy with my review blog, but that hasn't stopped me from my fitness goals. I started losing weight (I know, again!) in August. Why? Frankly, I am sick of putting on a pound here and there, losing a pound here and there, and the cycle continues. I started hard core on August 1, 2010. To date, I have lost 27 pounds. I am thrilled beyond I can imagine! I have been doing monthly weigh in's with a nurse and dietitian, where at these appointments, they do a full body scan. If you haven't had one done, whoah - this really puts things in perceptive! I know how much my bones weigh, organs and even how much weight in water that I am carrying. I have been working out for 45-60 minutes a day, at least 6 days a week - sometimes more, on the elliptical and it's been amazing! My progress is going in the downward motion, which is fabulous! My nurse wants to see me lose 30 more pounds, but that would put me under my BMI suggestion, so I am going for 15 more, and I will go from there as to how much further I will go or will want to go.

Kicking ass & taking names!

The summer was bad for us. Shame on hubby for being off work all summer. Gotta love his job though since it allows for that, but we grilled out a lot, chilled with beer on the deck and traveled a lot where we ate out a lot, but we are both on track now! I gained 10 lbs during 2009, so not too bad! I am on a massive mission and this year, I will be kicking ass and taking names.

I am so excited to have been busting butt on the elliptical, started my EASactive workouts (which are awesome!!!), eating in smaller moderation, not denying myself of anything, but again, moderation is the key, and with this said, I am SO EXCITED to say that I am down 5.2 pounds this week! :D

If you are wanting to join a weight loss program, Weight Watchers is a great program to get in on! Weight Watchers even has a program for those nursing mothers, so there is a plan for everyone!

I am SO sore from my workouts from yesterday. I did 45 mins in the AM on the elliptical, then another 45 at noon, then 30 on EASactive. Amazing workouts!

Getting ready for Spring!

I was out of town for a week (ALONE; no kids!) and it was awesome! I ate bad, but only gained one pound. Man, I can't deny that Japanese Steakhouse (twice.. shhh!). It was so much fun, but back to reality now. I have been very active with the kids, then I got sick. Bummer! I am now better and been working out, watching what I eat and taking my daily vitamins. I have lost the pound I gained while away on my mommy getaway, and then some. I am excited to be in some new capri's that I bought last summer; that I wasn't able to wear. I bought them on sale in the hopes I would be in them this summer and by golly - they may just be too big before summer hits. I hope so! My Elliptical ROCKS and I am falling more and more in love with it every day! Blogging has been keeping me busy, so I apologize for not writing on here more. I will be a better blogger here on EP.com. I promise!
XOXO

Sweating off the pounds

I am madly in love.... with my HealthRider H90e Elliptical, that is  I have  been working out every day, 30 minutes to start, with a light work out, but sweating my rear off. This machine is amazing! Loving it more and more every day and having the ability to work out in my own home is even better. I am down a pound. I was scared to weigh in because of our SuperBowl pizza and pasta we had, but I was excited to see that pound gone! Hello 150's!

Life Changing Package!

What arrived yesterday??? hrel598081

The ever so fabulous HealthRider H90e! This bad boy arrived on a Semi and I was like  LOL! For now, the box will remain in my dining room until the technician can get to my house to put it together, move it upstairs and get it all ready for me! I am SO excited to get started on the H90e!

I wish I could set this up because I am impatient like that. LOL! I am very excited to get this bad boy all up and running!

Healthy Snacking

I have been doing great at snacking. I love (and I mean LOVE) baby carrots. I am not much of a veggie person, but this is where V8 (Low Sodium) comes in to play with me. I get  my veggies in me and I feel tons better than I ever have. I have pretty high willpower when it comes to snacking, so I don't expect any issues there. Cheers for a New ME!

Cleaning to make room ...

Funny that I have to wait for Tuesday or Friday's to get here so that Kambry and I can go upstairs and clean while Tucker is in preschool. I can't do it while they are both awake, or home because the manic toddler likes to sit on his sister when I am not around. LOL! In the morning, I will be upstairs while he is gone so I can rearrange and clean to make room for my elliptical!  I am so ready to get back to working out! I am ready to get sweaty! I am excited to get sweaty! LOL! I hope to move a TV upstairs so I can watch the Biggest Loser during my evening work outs. I get so motivated with that show!
