New Year & holding steady!
This holiday was so chaotic & stressful for myself & my family. I lost my granddaddy in Texas just a few weeks ago. I am thankful to have been able to see him in the hospital before he passed a few days later. Two trips to Texas in a week was hard, but I managed to get by and here we are in a new year, new plans, new goals. New goals? Actually, I have the same goals I had just a few months ago; I am proud to say. I am down 35.2 pounds since I started my weightloss journey in August 2010. Not too bad, if I say so myself! I have been on my elliptical as much as my body lets me. I skipped most of December since I was traveling to TX most of the month, but I am very VERY proud to say that I did not gain anything over the holidays - not an OUNCE! I stayed steady at the 166 range, but this morning, I weighed in at 164.8, so YAY ME!!!! My official weigh in is on January 25th, so let's get up, get moving, keep eating better & get these last few pounds off before Spring. My goal is 150. That would be a perfect weight for my height {5 ft 7 in}, but my 'public realistic BMI shows me in the 120's. IMO, that's too thin for my height. My personal goal is 150; maybe 140's, and that would put me where I was at just before I got pregnant with Kambry. Hell, that would put me smaller than I was in 2000. My motivation is pretty damn high, so watch out world!
