Feeling much better!

The massage this afternoon definitely helped me. Oh, I was so sore, that I was almost in tears at some points in the massage but I knew it was what I needed. I felt good enough to go to the 6 pm crossfit class. However, I almost threw up a few times in the workout! I had eaten a delicious (at my favorite restaurant), but big meal about 90 minutes before the workout. So, in the middle of the crazy intense workout I had to rest otherwise I would have had everything come up.
The workout today was: Front Squats for 12 rep max, at 105 lbs. Then, 800 m run, 150 wallballs, 800 m run. Wow, that was a tough one! The first run was fine, I felt strong and came in before everyone else. Then those stupid wallballs started, hell! Using a 14 lb medicine ball you have to go into a deep squat then as you rise toss the med ball up past a 8 foot mark on the wall. (guys had to reach a 10 ft target using a 20 lb ball) These completely sucked! I first did 20, then that dropped to 10 at a time, then 5 at a time. It was during these wallballs that not only did I feel like throwing up but also mentally messed with me. I wanted to give up so many times, just throw that darn ball, lay on the floor and quit. I haven't had one of these mental workouts in a long time. But I didn't quit. That last 800 m run was more like a waddle, my legs did not want to move! I guess this was my mental push and preparation for my marathon in April.
I'm home now, resting. Not hungry after that big lunch. Plus, my lunch was about 6 blocks anyway and with a 3 block breakfast, I've already eaten my 9 blocks for the day. I guess this will begin a session of Intermittent Fasting. I'll have my next meal after my first run. Depending on when I wake up that would give me about 16-20 hours of fasting.
Tomorrow: No Crossfit, do 2 running workouts, 9 blocks paleo
