After the weekend
Well, the weekend is over - lousy weather here with rain and a bit stormy which I don't mind to be honest - might as well - once in Luxembourg in January this is the weather I will mostly wake up to.
Food wise- well not that great but not bad - Friday we went out for Dad's birthday - took King prawns which although might not be a great choice, is better than a big slab of meat health wise, no starter but did have banoffie pie for dessert and quite a lot of wine. On Saturday I was very good until the evening although I did take a very small piece of pizza. Then my friends went to a wine bar and I joined in- although I ate bread and cheese, I only had a glass of wine and said no to chocolate fondue. Sunday was a good day and I felt pretty good with myself. Usually I would take an almond covered ice-cream lollipop and buttered bread and a host of other bad stuff to pass the day but I said no to all that. I made some apricot fruit buns myself and ate two but I halved the sugar and used wholemeal flour as well as the usual one so it was healthy stuff. I am pleased with myself overall. I went down .7kg which I think would translate to 1.5lbs and I would love to keep up such a steady pace. I'm 76.3kg now and would like to be 74kg in 3 weeks time when I go to Holland. Today I have quite a busy day at work and then I need to take my nephew to an exam and then I have to go to my cooking lesson, I hope I manage to make because today is fish. I have a lot of driving to do which makes my knees feel very painful and regress but I can't help it really on a day like today.
