Ok, so last night I had this awful dream that it was the day of my wedding and the woman I bought my dress from had died and then they gave me the wrong dress which was ugly pea green and then it wouldn't fit bc I was too fat so I was going to every birdal shop in the area and couldn't find a dress.  ARG

So then I woke up this morning and did Turbo Scupt thinking "I'M GONNA FIT INTO MY DRESS BITCHES!" lol... I feel great right now too.  I ordered the rest of the Turbo Jam series, which is about 10 more workouts, and my plan is to do some sort of strength training/toning in the morning so I don't make a lot of noise early in the morning, and then do one of 5 cardio workouts at night to really get into that amazing beach body shape.  It'll probably be about a week before I get the new ones so until then I'm going to do Turbo Sculpt, and 20 min Jam everday and Ab Jam every other day and then when I get the new stuff I'll start my 2-a-days. 

I'M SO EXCITED TO GET MY NEW TJ DVD'S!!!!!!!!!!

Feeling Focused

So since Monday I have remained extremely focused on my goal.  I was lucky enough to have lost a pound this week and have continued the postive tread to goal.  I've been keeping up with my laundry, keeping my surroundings relatively organized and been able to concentrate on my schoolwork too.  Grocery shopping on Monday really helped out too.  I have lots of produce and have been aiming for about a 5-6 point entree, a 1-2 side and then another 0 point side.  I've been getting about 8 servings of fruits and veggies a day and have been drinking about 140oz of H20 a day too. 

Yesterday I applied at 3 different places, 2 daycares and 1 gym with a daycare.  As it turns out Bodyworks (the gym) is hiring both for their Kids Klub and for group fitness instructors.  So ideally I'll get that job and sub for classes and teach the kiddies! 

I don't have to work again today so JP and I are going to go to Applebee's and have a fun date/movie night after we work out.  Maybe today we'll actually get to play some raquetball since we didn't Tuesday grrr

I'm just going to post the highlights of my awesome day:

  • Had a great morning
  • Have a spankin' new resume that truly showcases my "badassedness"
  • It rained all the snow away- HOLLA!
  • I'm down 1lb even after the nasty weekend and recieved my 1st 5lb sticker at my meeting
  • I scored 2 interviews courtesy of my great new resume!

No school today- Loves it!

So I'm just chilling right now watching Pretty in Pink, one of my fave movies.  I went grocery shopping this morning, before that I went to subway and had a 6" chix teriyaki sub with baked chips and a diet coke.  I learned that eating a good meal before you go REALLY does help on impulse buys and I actually ended up crossing off a few things on my list that I didn't need at the moment.  I spent about $60 but I got a lot of really good produce and some soups and other good stuff. 

Today we don't have classes and my aunt cancelled work so I have a lot of free time.  JP and I are going to go play raquetball after he's done with work so I'm going to finish cleaning my room, do some hw and go have some fun. 

Tomorrow is weigh in so I'm still doing my best to stay under 20pts and get lots of activity. Unfortunatly it snowed like a mofo yesterday and I HATE SNOW.   So it's kinda keeping me from wanting to go outside.  Hope everyone has a happy TUESDAY!

It's Called Damage Control Watson.

Ah yes, this weekend was cluster F*** 2008 .  I went to fiances house in Roch and it was pretty fun but pretty catostrophic diet wise.  I was able to eat a healthy breakfast and lunch most days but dinner was for sure my downfall.  I only got to workout one day, the other days we had stuff planned or I was really tired so JP and I took the dogs running one day for 45 min and then on Saturday we went to the Mall of America and I did some shopping.  I got one outfit that fits me perfectly right now, and 2 shirts that fit me right now, but will continue to fit better as I lose weight.  I also got a super cute pair of shoes.  I also did tons of walking and trying on clothes lol so maybe that counts a little. 

In 2 weeks I'll be running/walking my first 5K I'm relativly close to being able to do the entire thing jogging, but I'm still walking a few short stretches.  So my goal is to walk/jog the 5K route (which is really close to my house) every morning for the next 2 weeks and then still to 20 min TJ and AbJam everyday too, probably in the afternoon. 

I'm really worried about WI this week.... I just feel like I gained a lot over the weekend and didn't do enough activity to make up for it.  So my goal these next 3 days is to stick with 20 points and do as much activity as possible.  So I'll be walking EVERYWHERE lol...

Bring on the Shoes BETCH

 

Sorry I've been MIA the past 2 days- I am in lovely Rochestor to celebrate my fiances gram and gramps 50th anniversery!  I just think it's amazing- 50 YEARS.  I was talking to his sister yesterday when we went out (more on that in a little bit) and I was just like...It's crazy to think of them being married for 50 years and I'm starting my countdown in August.  I just think marriage is a very sacred, wonderful thing and I'm so amazed when two people have been together that long. 

Today we are going to the MOA where I need to get some fun summer clother yay!  And of course some shoes.  That will be me below BHWAHAH

My eating up here has been so so.  I'm out of FP's which is a problem.  It's always hard for me to stay on track here they always have delicious foods and then his mom gave us easter candy.  We went out last night and I had 3 long islands and was well on my way to a land of bliss lol.  Now I'm gonna go eat bfast, read and RUN!  OP til Weds... woot

Great WI!

So weigh in was tonight and I'm -4.2 pounds.  I'm not changing the graph though bc my weight on my scale at home is a little dif than the WW so I weighed in what it says on here.  So next week you'll see a loss on the magical graph of happiness to the right .  At the meeting I also bought these mini bars called "peanut butter bliss" and they are so freakin good.  If you're a fellow points counter- you've got to try them asap!

Tonight's topic at the meeting tonight was "Trigger Foods".  There are 3 types of foods we talked about: green, yellow and red light foods.  Green are easy for us to control, yellow we can control under certain circumstances, and red triggers an emotional reaction sending us plunging into diet HELL!  Insert flames of fury.  So under green light foods were mostly healthy foods ex: veggies, fruits, the good stuff etcyellow was individual- for me it's black olives, popcorn, pickles, weird things like thatRed was a completly different story- pizza, cheese curds, mac n chz, french fries, CHIPS AND SALSA, crackers, chocolate on occasion, salty anything sends me into "I'm starting my diet tomorrow" mode.  So it was a good meeting.  After that I went to the grocer and grabbed a 3 pt smart ones dinner, a can of green beans and some fresh fruit for dinner and headed back for work. 

Next week I'll have lost my first 5 lbs  and right now I'm working on creating a goal chart for my weight loss.  My big goal is to hit 150 by the end of May and then be 140ish by mid July.  Grand total I want to lose 32 pounds by Fall so I can tone up for Halloween.  It's a ways away, but I'm planning on dressing like Lara Craft one night and a DCC the next- HOT!

Goals for next weigh in:

  • Be down 2-3 pounds
  • Eat 7 servings of fruit/veggies per day
  • Continue drinking all my water
  • Do TurboJam 6 days this week
  • Track everything
  • Stay focused over the weekend despite lots of temptations that I'll be facing.  Thank goodness my flexies started over today
  • Put some $ in savings (didn't get to last week)
  • Pay my cell bill and buy my VEGAS TICKET!!!

Get It Girl

So these next couple days are going to be stressful!  I need to talk to my Math 118 professor bc there is no way I am going to be able to complete my math hw (I'm behind 3 chapters now, online class) bc of work and my classes I've just been behind.  So I'm locking myself in the library tonight after I work for 4 hours, go to class, have a 3 hour meeting about pysical activities for 4th graders and try to get as much hw done as I can and do my English HW.  I just feel really stretched right now. 

Tomorrow night is weigh in.  I'm confident about the choices I've made in the last week and despite my stresses this week I've still stayed on the right path. 

I don't think I'll be doing TJ today- my big toe is hurting soooo bad.  It's either infected or I have an ingrown toenail.  Either way, walking hurts so I don't think Cardio Party is an option for me right now. 

I got my bridal party situation all ironed out  thank god because that wasn't annoying.  This weekend JP and I are getting invites ordered, planning our honeymoon, and hopefully meeting with his pastor again to go over "premarial crap". 

I'm hungry so I think I'm gonna make some popcorn.  Yum!

 

Boredom Brings on the Badness

So today is the first day back from Spring Break and woooooow classes were awwwful and slowwwwwwww.  So I skipped my music class and decided to go do Turbo Jam instead and then remembered later that we actually had a pretty cool mongolian group coming today and got mad at myself.  But, I had a good workout, I did Turbo Sculpt, 20 minutes, and Ab Jam. 

I definitly indulged myself yesterday.... I reeeeeeally like chocolate and it's like no matter what when I go home I just get the urge to eat eat eat EAT.  It's very frustrating but there's a reason I saved all my flex points for Easter.  I had fun playing with my little sister and my cousins and just being back on the ranch.  These next couple days I've decided to go at only 20 points per day and amp up the cardio to make sure that by weigh in on Wednesday my weight hasn't been negativly impacted by my wild eating lol...

Here's what I've had today:

Bfast- 1C Special K red berries, 2 pieces Turkey bacon
Lunch- Turkey Salad w/ light ranch dressing and lots of veggies, side of sauteed mushrooms and sugar free pudding
Snack- 1 tortilla with 1/2 cup black beans, 1/4C ff cheese, 1 medium orange and ff chips
Dinner- 5 pt smart one, 1C green beans

LOTS AND LOTS OF H2O and K2O if i get hungry.
