I'm going to try and get some pictures of my bedroom. It's a mini home gym! I'm so excited! Yesterday at bought a kettlebell kit. WOW! It is SUCH a great workout!
I also purchased a Polar F6 Heart Rate Monitor. It's AMAZING! It tell me my heart rate at all times, calories burned, and when I'm in the "zone." It can beep when I need to work harder and beep when I've gone overboard. I enter my weight, height, gender, and age and it uses those guidelines to determine my best heart rate zone. BUt, there is also a way to go in and do it manually.
The biggest surprise after doing a Leslie Sansone DVD was the my heart rate never even ENTERED that zone, which for me was 128 BPM. I guess I'm in pretty good shape. I did enter the zone during the kettlebell workout, but only for two minutes. So, I am now aware that I need to be working a little harder.
I think the new WAVE I have coming will help with that. Hopefully the Powerfit will too!
I just finished my oat bran with honey, cinammon, and blueberries. Yummy and healthy!

Hello!
Glad to see you've joined the wonderful world of home exericse. You should get Lauren Brooks' kettlebell DVD--can't remember the title right now. And the Iron Core Way DVDs. They are much better than Gin Miller's.
I remember when the Wave came out. It isn't for me. I'm curious to hear how you get on with it.
Also ooking forward to hearing what you think about Power Fit. It looks sort of beginner/intermediate to me, but I'm curious about it and really like Stephanie Huckabee!
I didn't even order the Wave. For me, the equipment looked too limited or specialised. I don't have much room to store things, I need versatile equipment. And to honest, it did look kind of easy.
I started out with the Firm, but I haven't liked any of the newer so-called 'Pink Firm' workouts--the ones in pink packaging. They changed their style from the old Body Sculpting Systems. You can still get the BSS Firms cheap at places like Amazon, and I recommend those.
You can check out Cathe's videos at www.cathe.com, and you can Jari's workouts really cheap at Amazon. Turbo Jam is only available from Beachbody, but those workouts are so fun!
