Biggest Loser Boot Camp

 From www.netflix.com I ordered The Biggest Loser Boot Camp.  It's pretty cool in that you do 3 30 minute work outs for two weeks and voila!  You are in shape!  You finish it with a maintainence workout.  It was nice doing this yesterday while baby was napping.  It also felt good to get some good upper body and leg work!  Today I will take baby for a stroller walk/jog and do the DVD again.  Ol' Bob says do it 4 -5 times per week for six weeks.  Okay Bob.  I'm on it!

I still may buy a small JC order once per month with my favorite foods, but not $250.00 worth every two weeks!  There's a slight middle ground there, no?

I did pretty well yesterday until I saw the movie Doubt and ate popcorn.  Would you like some movie with your popcorn?

Do any of you guys have one of those really healthy recipes that you can also freeze to eat throughout the week?

Soup?

Do you like soup?  There are lots of healthy soup recipes that you can make and then freeze. Shelley posted on a while back.  Minestrone.  And it's yummy!

i like doing things that can be baked in large amounts, like healthy lasagna (i have a recipe which replaces some cheese with tofu) or baked chicken/salmon dishes.  tatumsmom's soup idea is a good one too, especially now that it's so chilly outside.

i got jillian michael's 30 day shred dvd and it sounds similar to the one you got... except you're supposed to to it everyday, it's only 20 mins, but boy is it hard.  and they promise results as well.  we'll have to compare notes... i'm on day 5 today.

sounds good with the JC plan... that is the one downside... it really is quite expensive, isn't it.  plus, i like cooking... most of the times!

Congratulations on the birth of your baby!! I also had a little bundle of cuteness on 10/6/08!! So exciting! The boot camp DVD sounds like a great way to get on the exercise track! You must review it for all of us! Ahhh... it's good to be back. I feel the control slowing creeping back within my reach. Happy New Year!
