Gym, Where Art Thou?
My dreams of a tight butt over maternity leave have been fading fast. I, quite literally, can't get to the gym because I am with precious baby all day. But, I can't tell ya'll how much I miss it! I am taking my stroller walks which is great - when the weather is good. But, I've been shut in the house for about three days now. I love, love, love being with baby but until I'm sure he will sleep while I'm gone I can't get to the gym in the early am. I think that's when I'll need to go. I know it's a season of life and believe you me - I'm enjoying it. But, I really miss the weights because I do like the results, the adult conversation, and stress relief of pushing those weights. So, hopefully, as sweet baby gets a bit bigger, I can pretty sure he'll stay asleep (so Daddy can get some shut eye before he goes to work) around 5:30 - 6:15am so I can make it to the gym a few mornings a week.
Meanwhile, I'm watching the food intake. It hasn't been too bad because I'm doing such little physical activity that I don't really get that hungry.
