21 weeks
Well here I am at 21 weeks today (5 months and 1 week). I am feeling pretty good and I love being able to get out and have a good walk. I am up another pound - bringing the total to 14 lbs. I seem to be averaging somewhere around 1800-2000 calories per day. Keeping track feels really good! I like knowing the numbers. I really like this blog because it seems anytime I mention food/calories to anyone they say, "oh don't worry about it!" blah blah blah. What makes them think I am worrying about it?
That's kind of aggravating.
I'm also getting already aggravated at people's opinion of whatever to do with the baby or parenting. It reminds me of the times I gave unsolicited advice and how annoying that must be. I know that I am the ultimate decision maker when it comes to what goes in my mouth and I know what's right for me. I would just like one person to say, "Do what's right for you," or "Listen to your instincts."
HA! OK - off my soapbox now! :-)

Here's some advice...
Do what's right for you. Listen to your instincts. Hahaha!
Unfortunately, I listened to all of my instincts and gained over 50 pounds. LOL! This is a great time of your life, though. Enjoy it! It will be over before you know it. Seriously. As much as I was ready to NOT be pregnant anymore, I somewhat miss it. I guess that's God's way of telling me to have another, huh? Um, sorry if any of that was unsolicited advice. I'm just glad you're keeping us informed here.

Do what's right for you....
listen to your own instincts. The only reason we probably give you advice, is b/c we all know what a miraculous time pregnancy is and we feel that we can be a part of it again. I, like TatumsMom, miss those days, now that my kids are 16,14, and 10. And I too gained about 50 with each pregnancy. I just had the greatest time eating. I just loved being pregnant, just experiencing the miracle of it all. It is such a learning experience, and sometimes things just don't come naturally.
A funny story, I am a heavy sleeper and everyone told me that once I had my baby that would change. I would be a light sleeper. Well, still in the hospital, I woke the next morning and asked the nurse, why they didn't bring my son in at night to nurse. She said that she had tried to wake me, called me 7 times even touched me and I was sawing logs. She woke the other mother, who wasn't nursing, poor lady. Well, I did feel like a bad mom, and I am still a heavy sleeper!! My hubby would have to wake me many nights when it was feeding time.
Something about pregnancies, makes moms want to be kindred spirits, so we feel a part of us that has passed. So I do apologize for any unsolicited advice, I do wish you love and happiness!
