Birthday Weigh In
I would usually weigh in on Sunday, but I'm cheating, and I'm weighing in today instead, because dammit, it's my birthday, and I'm going to eat and drink and be merry today, right??? Screw the diet for 1 day! I'm allowed! :) Who's with me?? hahaha..
Well, I had set a goal of 210 for my bday, and that didn't happen. I know why it didn't happen though-- lack of exercise. Working out 2x a week is not going to do it for me, but what can you do. I've been in NY instead of VA, here with my mom post surgery (hers, not mine). Sometimes in life you just have to do things that you have to do, ya know? So when I'm back home, I'll work out more. It'll be grand. Today's weigh in also comes on my mom's scale, not mine, so we'll see how different it is when I get back to my own scale. The # is 211.1... Close, but not quite!
I think I'm going to the olive garden for my bday dinner- I'm not fancy, lol. I'll be having salad and dessert, and maybe a breadstick or 2, if I allow it (which I likely will, see above, lol). Then we'll go to my fave local bar the Mosquito for drinks and chill times.
I'm excited to get back home after the weekend, and get back on track with my workouts. This is the first time I can say that my diet has been more consistent than my exercise-- wow!
