Sick of having to restart

March/April was a bit of a crazy time. I'm happy to update and say that my mom's procedure went really well; in fact, her heart concerns turned out to be a false positive, so to speak, so yay for that. I went to TX w/ my bff for her 30th bday and definitely gained like, 3.5lbs, (with cake and alcohol and mexican food?? yeah..), but that weight is gone now too. Work has been crazy, and will continue to be pretty much through May, as I get my kiddies ready for the state tests (in math, reading, science AND social studies.. poor 9 year olds!).
 
I've been having a hard time getting back into an exercise routine since TX. I hurt my hip, not sure how pretty much right after, and it was killing me for a good week. I stopped exercise, used a heating pad, etc. It's better now. I went to the gym yesterday for about 45 min and it felt okay, though if I extended too far back on the arc trainer I could feel almost a small pop? in my hip area. I also lifted weights for a bit, upper body, and I am feeling that today!
 
This morning I'm going out with my roommate for brunch; I'm excited for an omelette! Have been craving one for days, and I really can't make myself a good one, sadly. Then I need to shop for a baby shower and hit the gym. I'd like to do the arc trainer today as well as lower body weights. Then I can come up with a plan for the week that I can maybe manage... yeah...
 
Alright! That's a quick update. As for the title, I just wish I could stay with whatever program I'm doing, and not fall out and have to restart! But without the restart, where would we all be?
