Allergy ridden Sunday
I meant to post last Sunday and forgot, so I'll post today and pretend that counts. Sunday seems to be my goal day for posting on EP. Last Sunday I was up 2lbs to 221.4. That sucked, but wasn't really surprising. My body seems to be having a hard time adjusting to my new birth control pills, and my eating was a bit out of whack. Plus I only worked out 3x that week. This week, I'm down to 218, so that's a good thing. I was really hoping to be down to 215 by next Sunday, but that likely won't be the case as TOM will be arriving. Oh well. Whatever! It's generally moving in the right direction. The massive amount of weight I gained over the 11 months of grad school hell (read: about 23 lbs!!! omg) is coming off. My weight pre-grad school was 213.8, so I'm at least getting closer to where I was. It's happy, but sad, isn't it???
This week was pretty stressful overall. My ex continues to stalk(ish) me, and I had some issues at work. My mom got some less than excellent news about her health and is having a procedure done on Wednesday. I'm currently trying to figure out if I'll go back home for it or not. It's a really really crazy hectic week at work, and I don't want to shirk my responsibilities there, but at the same time don't want to be the winner of the "worst daughter ever award" either.. We'll see what I decide..
Anyway, I'm gonna go run a few errands (I need to find a navy swim bottom and some flip flops for my spring break trip to Texas!! next Sunday) and then go to the gym. Pathetically, it will only be workout #3 for the week, but with such a bad week, I'm gonna say it's okay. I kayaked yesterday; it was gorgeous out! I paddled about 5 miles, and I am SORE today! Go figure, right? Hahaha.. My allergies are all sorts of acting up though, so that's a bit crappy. Oh well.
Off to Target, Kohls and the gym~!
