End of May Already!!

Boy this year is going by too fast.  Isn't funny how life is like that.

Remeber when you were young and a weekend seemed to last an eternity.  Now, it goes by in a blink of an eye. 

I have a quote although not sure who it is by.  It is not mine but here you go:

This is so true!!  Live life to the fullest every day!!

My Walk

Thanks to all that asked.  My walk was wonderful.  I love this time of year when I can escape from the office and have a walk.  There is not better feeling than the warmth of the sun.  It was a beautiful day todaty.

I am glad I went because we are now expecting rain for the next two days.

Wednesday Check in!

Well here I am sitting at my desk during my lunch break when I should be oustise enjoying this beautiful weather we are having here in Southern Ontario.  I should get out there and go for a walk.  .... Instead of taling about it I'm going!!

EP Is The Best Thing I Have Ever Come Across!!

I just wanted to thank everyone who has taken the time to stop by my blog!  This site and community is amazing.  I can't believe how empowered I have felt here over the last week. 

The best thing is I am accountable for all of this for the first time in my diet life, I feel in control!

.6 Better than Nothing

Well so today was my official Weigh In.  I lost .6 of a pound.  Not much but at least I did not gain .6. 

This sets me behind my goal of losing 1 pound per week but I am not upset.  Considering I struggled so much with my eating this week I am surprised I lost everything at all.

Goals for this week:

  • drink at least 4 glasses a day - I am working my way up to 8
  • concentrate on going with my WW plan
  • make sure I log every bit of food I eat

Here it is A new Day a New Week!!

Over the weekend I did some searching into myself and what I need to do.  Here is what I came up with:

  • I need to get healthy
  • I need to loose my "fat suit"
  • I need to get my eating habits in check
  • I nned to find a eating lifestyle that will work for me in my "real life" not just my "diet life"

I have decided for a now I am going to follow the weight watchers points plan.  I lost 20 pounds on weight watchers a few years ago so I know it works.  Until I figure out something else this is the way I am going to go.  I am not going to attend meetings as I have all of the materials and feel that through my community here on EP I am held accountable and don't need to pay a weekly fee for someone to weigh me. 

I will keep you all posted on how it goes.

Okay What Happened to Motivation?!?

Ok I feel completely helpless here.  I have not been good for the last couple of days and cannot get my head around this whole thing.  I am not sure why I have such a hard time on weekends to stay on target and keep this up.  I need to obviously be more focused!!!

WW...Volumetrics

Well I obviously need some kind of structure in my diet life.  I had though about going back to weight watchers without the meetings.  I have all of the information to not have to pay for the meetings.

I have also heard of a book called Volumetrics.  Anyone heard of it?  Any thoughts?

Off the Wagon....

Well I have nothad much luck this week.  Although I have been watching my portion sizes I have not been paying a lot of attention to what I have been eating and have been eating based on convenience. 

I guess I am going tohave to try something else this week and continue forward.
