OMG OMG!!!

MID-WEEK WEIGH IN!!

I was reading through the May/June Issue of WW Magazine and it stated that people trying to lose weight should weigh themselves at least once a week and people who are maintaining should weight themselved everyday to make sure you are on track.

Well I am taking these words of wisdome and will weight in twice a week on Tuesday and my official weigh in on Friday.  This way I will know if i need to step it up.

So TODAY  my mid point is 226.8!!!!!  Yes.  I have lost another. 2.2 pounds since Friday!!  Now I just have to keep it up!!

Cinnamon Buns!!!

Hah!! Did I grab your attention??  I am at work right now (it is 9:15 in the morning here)  I turn around in my chair to find the girl sitting behind me eating cinnamon buns!!  Normally, I would now begin to crave this, guess what I don't and I was rather disgusted by the look of it. 

I think the thin me is starting to speak louder and I like it.  I have planned out all of my meals and recorded them for the day already. 

I blew through all of my flex points on the weekend so I have to be very careful not to go over. 

I hope everyone had a great weekend and I am looking forward to the week ahead!!

On Plan!!

I am actually very proud of myself.  I am managing to stay on plan.  I was so motivated after signing up yesterday I started yesterday.  I used a lot of flex points last night though.  Who knew a slice of meat lovers pizza from pizza hut would be 10 points!! (stuffed crust!)  Oh well I am learning as I go! 

I am also being very diligent about writing down every piece of food that goes into my mouth. 

I feel so empowered!!  This is it, the weight is coming off for good!

OFFICIAL/UNOFFICIAL WEIGH IN & NEW START

This is Week 1 Day 1 of Counting WW points. 

I weighed in at 229.00 at home 230.4 at WW.  I am going to use my home scale as my weigh in as this is when I weigh myself first thing in the morning with nothing on. 

I am raring to go and just need to keep my head afloat going into the weekend!!

DEAL OR NO DEAL?

That is what seems to be going on in my head these days.  I have taken the last couple of days to really do a little more soul searching and guess what?  I found myself along the way.  I have taken all of your good advice and I am going to use it to make this work.

 

 For those who may not have read my post I lead a very hectic life.

Working full time

Running a business

Trying to work in time for my DH

 

 I have decided now I can’t do this alone, at least not right now. 

 

 NEW PLAN:

 I have decided to join WW again!  I am going to give it 14 weeks (they have a 14 week special on right now) of meetings and what not and see where it takes me.  I think I need the discipline of going to a meeting right now to give me a swift kick in my butt!  I need to be steered in the right direction.

The reason I chose WW is that I have been successful in losing weight with them in the past and I can eat store bought food which will make eating dinner with DH easier. 

 

 I am signing back up tomorrow as I think that Friday meetings will be a lot easier to tackle for me.  They have lunch meetings on Friday. 

 

 TO DO:

  1. Sign Up for WW and attend meetings for the next 14 weeks
  2. Buy a new Agenda to enable me to track everything in my life and schedule the much needed “ME” time. 
  3. Start to drink all of my water starting with at least 4 glasses a day 

 I am looking forward to this and I could not have done this without any of  YOU my extended EP family.  Thanks for the support.  You guys ROCK!!

You are all the best!!  Thanks to everyone who commented on my blog yesterday.  I feel so fortunate to have found EP and this community of wonderful people.  Without it I would have just about given up yesterday!!  Now I am raring to go.

Thanks for all of the great advice.  I have thouhgt a lot about it. I am in the process of "hatching" a new plan I will unveil over the next couple of days.

Am I Sabotaging Myself?

I don't know what to say...Weigh in was not good.  I am now up to .4 pounds heavier then when I started.  I know what I did and I have no one else to blame!  I lead such a hectic life that I need to get some focus back into my life.  It is too hard to concentrate on this weight loss thing while I am trying to do a million other things.

Here is my problem:

  • I work full time 40 hours a week
  • I own a growing Home Staging Business (hours vary week by week)
  • I used to also work part-time - but have since quit to be able to concentrate on my HS businsess. 

It seems I am so busy in my professional life that I don't know how to handle by personal life or me any more. 

I need to concentrate on ME not on everyone else.  I obviously can't lose weight on my own and the last couple of weeks have proven that. 

I am so happy to have found EP it makes me so accountable and there are no more excuses. 

I think I am going to have to look into a facility based weight loss program to at least give me a jump start for a few weeks and get me back on track.

Isn't Technology Great!?!

Well, I am finally back online.  Friday afternoon my internet cut out.  Technicaly support couldn't diagnose it (after  two hours on the phone)!!  but I am back.  It is amazing to me how much we depend on technology that when something goes wrong we panic!  It is a doomy rainy day here, whether wise so I am going to have to stay positive and move forward.  I hope everyone had a great weekend!
