Hi Everyone...Thanks for the messages so far.


Had an idea come to me from another newbie just like me and I thought I'd share it with you...if you want to join in let me let me know :) 

We are going to make a pledge each week. Here it is:
We could make a pledge to do 2 pounds each..and pick 2 foods we will have lots of, 2 foods we won't touch and 2 rounds of activities we'll do?

Here's mine for this week:
I pledge to be 2 pounds lighter by next Monday night by eating lots of good poultry and drinking 2 litres of water a day (I find that soooo hard don't you). I promise I won't touch nuts (a big favourite of mine) or popcorn and I'll do 2 sessions on the cross trainer. 

How about you? Why not give it a go and post your own pledge here? Don't be too hard or too soft on yourself and have a giggle with it,

Spring In Your Step

Welcome to SPRING IN YOUR STEP  - my first ever groupy gobby blog thing.

Like you probably, when I found this site I thought it's just the sort of place I need to keep myself motivated...but I guess the rules are that you only get out what you put in and I can't expect support unless I show up regularly right? So If I'm going to do that I thought I'd do it to help you guys out first.

I've been putting a couple of stats up over the last few times I've logged in and I reckon I'll be updating my trackers daily or thereabouts. But whatever I do I promise to keep it real so you can keep on track yourself.

I've joined the UK support group today and am looking forward to seeing who's still about over the next few days/weeks etc.

My goal isn't massive - a stone a go - but it's not an easy one to do on your own. Plus I'm doing to Race For Life in June sometime and I'll be posting my so-called training log so you can all have a good laugh at that...

Right then - so I'm ready to rock and roll. Lost 4 pounds since getting my head in gear about it - for Spring is only round the corner.
