Waking is coming slowly...
I would like to say that I have been losing weight, Though I have ultimately hit a plateau. This is refered to the end of the honeymoon. When you start a diet, or lifestyle change, you start to lose weight because of the caloric change and the different foods that you are eating. Sadly, the honeymoon is over for the diet. That does not mean that I am giving it up, it has much more benefits than weight loss. I have more energy, and I am getting out more, and I am happier.
Today was yoga and martial arts, both were very hard, and great workouts, other than that I have given up eating out. That is right, I used to eat out almost everymeal. Now, I am going to the grocery store a great deal. I enjoy preparing meals, always have, I have just been lazy about it. I have food cooked for the next couple of days,
Tomorrow is marathon Yoga day. I have three classes planned.
Thanks to all,
SoF

always try to catch a sunrise...
More than just part of my story, it is great to see kinda refueling. I enjoyed great company yesterday, though I went off diet ( I think, not too sure). I made up for that, I hit the gym early today, and i have already packed my lunch.
It may still be a little early, though I am planning out my new year's goals. I am coming up with 5 attainable goals. Look for those in the next post.
I have the gym early and yoga tomorrow, and I am looking forward to that.
On a lighter note, I am not quite to 20 lbs, not like glory, though I am happy with the changes that I have made. I also look forward to the new goals that I am setting.
thanks for reading

Dawn will have to wait for us...
Ok, Today I am really sick. The great part is I can detox again, though the awful part is that I cannot eat anything, and I have been sleeping most of the day. I will get back to posting my daily intake, so here goes:
1 cup of green tea.
yesterday, I cooked and I did not eat any of it. I also cheated yesterday, yeah, even I can admit it. I had chicken nuggets from Wendy's. I have also been paying for this. So no more fast food. It is the only food group that I cannot eat, (the four being Fast, Sugar, Fat, and Grease). I do not eat any of those anymore.
I have done pretty well, considering that I have lost 10lbs in two weeks. I am going to continue the diet, and I hope that everything that keeps going well.

The storm brews, shelter is sought
Ok, So I have not posted in a while, mostly because of work. My schedule is hectic, and I will post when I can during the season. I am paying for classes so my nights are filled with something to do. I have Yoga and martial arts M/W/F and I can hit the gym when I want if I cannot make a class. I was up early this morning to shovel snow, I count that as exercise as well.
So I am holding up a 10lb award. I had not realized that I had lost that much between posts. I was feeling bad about still looking fat, though I have weight falling off, and there is nothing better than that.
I will post more when I have another chance. Maybe tomorrow evening
Thanks to all

Near the horizon, our homeland
So I was kinda happy to see a 2lb loss, even after I indulged in homemade peanut putter cookies. Our early Turkey day was nice, and I have a few great stories to add to the collection. I listed breakfast yesterday, dinner was pork, with some potatoes and some light snacking.
Today is looking good, I ate according to the new diet plan that I am on. Hopefully I can continue with it.
I will say this I am only trying the blood type diet because of my mother, I think that it is awful, though she is adament about it. If I am on it and nothing happens, then try something else. It is very hyped as the greatest thing, though it can be very limiting on what you can and can not have.
Thanks as always

Our pace quickens
So I will admit that I fell off of the wagon for a while, hence the weight gain, I have also not updated my weight since July. I am updating my weight game here by looking more regularly, and working out some more. So here is Yesterday
96 oz. of Water
32 oz. of Gatorade
Yep, yesterday was a detox day. Here is what happens when you fast. Your body recognizes that there is no supply of food. First it turns to muscle, because your body does not need muscle and it takes up lots of calories to keep. Since I have very little muscle right now, it looks to the secondary source of fuel, fat.
When the body breaks down fat it is like cracking up an unmarked barrel. You do not know what else it will contain, but you know you need to see what it is. Well, this is when your body releases Free Radicals out because as you burn fat, you also burn off anything stored in fat. So when you ate the fried chicken, you got all the bad things one time, and some stowed away, now I am trying to remove fat, and that means everything stored in fat as well.
Here comes that anti-oxidents, vitamins, and juices to remove them. I need almost as much as half in anti-oxidents as I drank yesterday.
Today is looking good so far. I am trying out the blood type diet, if that does not work, I go veggie again.
Today so far
1 fruit and yogart parfait, lots of blue and straw berries
1 Steak (no seasoning) It is part of the diet
1 egg,

An old friend joins the journey
So I will say this, As much as I abhor being angry, and how much of a waste it really is, sometimes, it is what I need to get me moving. In a completely unrelated event to losing weight, I was upset by someone who attacks me first then pleads moral high ground. While I have a mind for vengeance, I choose not to walk that path, rather I was up early today, (6am). I went to the Gym, and fast walked for 1.87 miles, then went to an eliptical for 376 calories. Work today was a nightmare, though 8 hours goes really fast when you are extremely busy. I stopped only to take the required lunch, and then I sat for the last 10 mins of the day for me. My shins are killing me, though I can not wait for tomorrow if only to see if I can break today. The inspiration for all of this was the incident. I may get a few lbs. out of this.
Here is a tool that I am using, to help me with the weight loss
270 - starting point
260 - First landing point, easy goal
250 - I can start to wear the old wardrobe again
240 - I look good in the old wardrobe again.
230 - around the thinnest I typically get, Second landing point.
220 - Donate all the "Fat" clothes. Less chance of needing them if they are not around
210 - Around my high School weight, I do not really know this step yet
200 - Start swapping out old wardrobe for new pieces
190 - Go out for a "Onederland" celebration
180 - Finish wardrobe, take up a new sport, enjoy life a little more
170 - Goal weight, If I can land here, Mom has to take the journey.
I hope this helps. Keep fighting, and good luck

Visions of a future changed
Today was not my fault. For once, I will admit that I am not always the best at eating or working out, though I can safely say that today I did almost all that I could.
I worked early this morning. I ran to the Yoga studio immediately, only to find out that they canceled the Friday morning classes. I came home, to get ready to go to the gym, and fell asleep. I awoke to having some time, though I did not exercise. I figured that I would get that at martial arts class tonight. I waited around only to receive a call after I had left explaining that class had been canceled. Yep, that was the day.
I have news as well. I am here as some of you may know for my mother, as well as for me. The latest is that she is no longer allowed Salt of any kind, rather a max of 2 tsp. per day. So all the food is changing to the blood type diet, and since we have the same blood type, I will be doing this with her. While I am not fond of the diet ( I say this now), I will do so as to help her out.
Food intake:
1 Can of coffee
1 Medium coffee
2 oranges
1 fun size baby ruth
2 turkey wraps, spinach included
1 Pot of Turkish coffee ( think 18 oz)
Lastly, 1 Burrito, to have "one last bad thing"

Footprints the only thing in my wake
Today is a preemptive lazy day. I know that I am busy for the next few weeks, and I decided to relax myself today. I ate semi-healthy, the real badness(?) if you can call it that, was the steak. So today, I awoke, made turkish coffee, and had some Kashi healthy waffles.
There is not much to my day, so on with the food
1 pot of Turkish coffee (think 14 oz. not half gallon)
Kashi waffles
Turkey and Spinach wraps (2)
and Finally
Steak DInner with green beans, lots of peanuts, and a couple of dinner rolls.

The first steps taken...
Wow, I have not posted in a while, mostly because I have not been around a computer, So here is all the news from the front lines
My car broke down, it needed a tune up which is great, nothing major wrong with the car, just needed love. The great part about not having a car, is that I can bike to work. It is 8 miles from where I live by car, so I figure about 7 miles by bike (one can ride better paths, and have more access on a bike than a car). The great part about this is that my job is completely behind me biking.
Secondly, I survived the same wedding that NH did, and I have pictures to share sometime, when I find one or two that I like. There is only one of me so far and I do not know if my eyes (my best feature so I am told) are closed or not. So I will wait.
Any way, I have kept to the diet somewhat, spent lots of time exercising, and I hope to have a weight for everyone reading on Monday. I looked early last week, I did not want to post early, though it looked good from the reading. All the halloween candy is off, let us see what else is gone. Probably, some take out from an ex, maybe work food that was going to be thrown away. who knows.
Today's exercise includes Mowing the .5 acre lawn, practicing in a few minutes after I catch up on emails and groups.
Food Includes Quesodillas from chili's, an orange, and a tuna noodle dish, prepared with healthy noodles and tuna.
Thanks for reading
