Before After

How SoF spent summer vacation

Wow, so I know that it is not the end of summer.  I also know that some of you are still having a great time with the weather and family.

How has the challange been going?  I have been eating mostly vegan.  The diet has been going great, as I can do a lot, have teh energy to do more, and I am not super weighted down for the rest of the day.

Biking has been great, I was up to 15 miles before my tire went out.  I have to go get it replaced, though I have travelling coming up so, I have to have it fixed afterwards.  I also went back to martial arts again.  I had just stopped going for a while because I was always working or tired when class was going on.

Outside of that, I am reading more, I been catching up on all the book that I have purchased in the last few months as my life seems to be settleing down.

I cannot think of a funny story at the moment.  I will post a new one later

Song of the post: Essence of Kea by Tritonal.  I have followed this song since it was an unsigned track.  It was a great track, and I listened to it a lot, then the track got signed and it got better.  Dash out and grab it.

I will try to catch up on everyone soon, I have some time with the bike out of commission.

SoF Vs. Protiens

There are so many types of protien out there.  Here is a little guide to help you.

If you are going to take a protien powder, which is the easiest way to incorperate more protien in to the diet.  Adding it to a smoothie or juice is the quickest way to add it in.

Whey Protien: By far a great protien, though it is also the most trouble some.  Digestion rate about 2 hours.  It has a full amino acid profile, the muscle builders.  This issue is that not too many people can digest it.  Lactose intorolant people have an issue with digesting it.  It can be bothersome with out special enzemes.

Egg Protien: Digestion rate 2-3 hours.  Similar to whey though a little lighter on the body.  It does not act as a weight suppesant like whey.  Can cause some digestion issues.

Casin Protiens: Digestion rate 6-8 hours.  This is great if you know you will not be able to eat for a while.  Causes the same issues as Whey.

Soy Protien: Digestion rate about 4 hours.  This is a great protien, though there is some issues with hormones in them though.  Soy naturally has hormones in it which can help balance you when you hormones go crazy (this happens to everyone).

Rice Protien: This does not have a complete amino acid profile, though it is easy to digest.  Digetsion rate about 1-2 hours.  This is great as a preworkout snack or to toss in juice.  It is one of the few that is good for everyone.

Hemp Protien: By far the most expensive.  Though this one also has the highest bio-availability (the amount of protein that the label says versus the amount your body actually gets from the protien).  This is a preferred protien of vegans.  This one also has a large amino acid profile, though not a complete profile.

Mixture Protiens:  There are several of these out there for people do not want several protiens hanging around or do not want to pay for several kinds of protiens.  These have all the advantages and disadvantages of other kinds of protiens.

There are several issues with bio-availability in protiens.  If you look at the labels, what the label says vs what you actually get out of it is up to your body and how it takes to the protien.

I presonally use Hemp and Vega whole food health optimizer.  The Vega WFHO is a mixure of Hemp, Rice, and Split pea.  As well as other things.

I hope this helps you.  Good luck to you.

Steve (SoF)

SoF Vs. June

Wow, it has been a month hasn't it?  I find my self in front of a computer with time on my hands crazyness.

So my first challange ended.  OK, so the stats on that.  I gained.  Yep.  I gained 15 lbs of muscle.  In the last 4 weeks, the weight did not change, only the amount of muscle.  that was up 4 lbs.

So how goes the vegan plan?  We it goes, I am eating a lot better, though that was not was not bad to begin with.  I will give you a run down of the food after I catch up.

Exercise, Yeah, I increased the intensity of my workouts, so much so, that during a pickup game of football with all of my friends (most of whom workout, not to the level that I do though as I will explain).  After the game, I am the only one not huffing and puffing, though a couple recovered better than others.  We had to stop playing because one of them started to lose lunch.  It was funny though.

I will walk you through a typical workout week for the summer.
Monday: Leg day, Squats, leg press, Dead lifts.  Etc.  I also Bike about 10 miles.
Tuesday: Upper body day:  I was doing so many exercises, that I split some into the leg day.  No Biking
Wednesday: Long bike day.  Between up to 20 miles.  Depending on time constraints.
Thurdays: Repeat monday
Friday: Repeat Tuesday
Sat: Repeat Wed
Sun: The quentessential sabbath.

I still work 30 hours as well, in addition to planning for school.

Food Planning:
Meal One: 4 tbsp of Hemp protien with OJ Calcium.  This is also my pre-workout meal.  One of the two most important meals of the day.
Meal Two: 1 Serving of Vega Whole food Health  Optimizer with OJ.  This is my post-workout meal.  The most important meal of any training day.
Meal Three:  If I am having meat I typically have Eggs.  About 4 egg whites, 2 bananas, and 4 dates.  If I am eating more Vegan, then I have my salad typically.  Mixed nuts, fruit, spinach, other good things.
Meal Four: Sometimes I have A vegan raw Pizza, these are amazing, and I have gotten my co-workers to enjoy it as well.
Meal Five:  Typically a mix of nuts and fruit.  I make raw burgers, from vegan sources.  these are also great.
Meal Six.  If I am having meat, it is Tuna or chicken with EFA oil.  Otherwise it is just mixed nuts.

I have very few true grains anymore, I have rice, though not too much.

That is about it for me.  I will offer this as advice for those looking to be more active.  When you are planning a meal, use this simple formula:
Fiber Fat carbohydrate(from fruit preferably) Lean Protien.  In that order for importance.  I could go on about how this is effective, and tell you all the great point about it, though there is this great chart off to the side that tells you how I am doing.

Have a great summer, I will check in soon.

Steve (SoF)

SoF Vs. The Impossible

Ok, so it is rather only for the dedicated...

Since I am not one to mix words, I have started to formulate the BFL session 2.  Since BFL session 2 is about taking on the impossible, there is that inner voice of the Ego going to me:
"If you take on the impossible for challange 2 what will you do next?" I have to reply with the ever scientific "Shut Up".  Then the logic kicks in, and I think about this.  When this is done, I will know if I am heading off towards BFL Challange 3 or BFL Challange X.  While I am not a pessimist, I am a very realistic person.  I am a planner now, thanks to Gettinfit.  (I also think that I will be taking after her in a sense, more on that later).

So what is this challange.  I have been doing my research, and I have been looking into a way to transisition, and tweak my diets.  I have found a 12 week diet program that is 6 meals, and 12 weeks of meals planned.  It fits in perfectly with the BFL workout routines, that I have been following (and also tweaking).  As all of you know, I have been on a body building version of this program, and I am going to keep that up.  Adding in something completely different.

I do not want much, Just the best of many worlds.
1) Body builiding/ Endurance sports:  I want to keep up the lifting, though I am going into a cycling training for the heartland Aids Ride, I do not think that i will be able to do it this year, as it happens in a couple of weeks, though I am looking to do it next year.  Training will include rides to work where I my car is not in the shop.  Yeah.  The body fat ratios are similiar, though the training will vary depending on what events I have comming up.
2) Bodybuilding/ Endurance Sports and the big one: Veganism.  Yes, Veganism.  I am not a big dairy person, I am not big on eggs, though I will eat them if they are around, I have given up meat before, and I have done this before (though mostly I ate pasta).  I will keep this up with the No Soy and Wheat as well.  The meal plans I am in the process of sampling, and I have until the end of June to "Dry" out.

I am looking forward to this, I have been for a while now, since I started reading a new book.  It is about plant based nutrition.  Lastly, I have a friend on this.  Glory has offered to do the 12 weeks with me.  We are starting up the new BFLs the first week of July.

New goals;
Complete Both the veganism and the new BFL challange.
Actually track what I am lifting, I have been just going by feel, which is great for me, because I do not get distracted and I can actually focus on my workout.  I would like to start keeping a Program journal, what I ate, what I worked out, any changes that occured.
Get out and ride for goodness sake, it is great out there, and I have been able to ride the past few days.  I am looking to ride as many days as I can.  On my days off, those will be my long ride days.  (15 miles).
Continue to help as many people along the way as I can.

There you go, goals for the next challange, there will be more depending on how I modify the plan, though for now, those will work.  I will be radio silent for parts of the summer, so i will only be checking out the site when I make the time to, it is just too pretty to sit in front of a computer.

Funny story of the post: So a while ago, I was at a diner, and all the servers were wearing these great big green buttons with white lettering saying "We're #2."  I had to ask what was up with the button.  The server tells me because you (i.e. the customer) are #1.  I start laughing, and tell her that not only do the let the servers know what they think of them, they advertise it for everyone else to see.  The server said it was crappy, though they had in internal joke about telling customers to "piss off" by telling them about the you're #1 promotion.

Song of the Post:
So, I have been listening to Deep Blue still, so I will be recommending Thomas Datt 2v2, it is great listening, and at 9 mins, it makes workout time go by quicker.

Have a great summer, enjoy the warmer weather.

Steve (SoF)

SoF Vs. The Haitius

I have been away for a while, mostly because I only post about once a week.  Well, I am cementing the final preparations for BFL Challange 2, and I will be posting my goals, new challanges, and some surprises when I do.  I will have all the information I need on Sunday, and I will post more for next week.  This will have all the new information, new motivation for everyone, and Some funny things, they do not grow on trees you know.

Take care all, new post soon

Steve (SoF)

SoF Racks 'em and Stacks 'em

First off, I think that I have gotton all the EPs that I follow, follow me, or all in all what I find myself reading.  If I have not, just comment, and I will add you in shortly.

Opening shots: There are too of these, one is that I am able to tell my mother "no" to eating out all the time.  We have a great time eating out, though we need another hobby than eating out all the time.  We are able to work with each other any more on what we eat and that is the first step.

Admitting that I am wrong: Ok so a while ago, I made a post about moderation.  I am not moderate about what I eat, I eat about 8 meals a day, and with that, I try to focus on healthy carbs, lean protiens, and healthy fats.  I was talking to a trainer friend the other day (the great part about having as much information as I do, is that trainers what to be your friend, not try and train you), we bounce ideas off of each other, and I was telling him about stalling out, he goes what are you doing?  I am supplimenting, eating 8 meals, 3 solid, 5 shakes, shake when I wake up, shake before I go to bed, exercise 6 days a week, I do not know why I am stalling out.  He tells me to increase my cardio, time and days.  Then he asks me if I am counting calories, I say no, I haev not needed to do so.  He tells me that that would help out.  Crap.  So, I am starting to track what I intake in a day.  I was wrong.

The Salvo:  So most people have the quintessential "Angel" and "Devil".  I have the "Ego" and "Inner Personal Trainer(IPT)".  So, I am transitioning my lifting program.  I have been using all machine assisted lifting for the first 6 weeks of my program.  I am starting to use more free weights, this is too help me not fight others who will be named later.  I start off by leg press and lying leg curls. Then I head over the Smith Machine.

IPT: Start adding plates                            Ego: Start off small
IPT: If you do not put on a lot of plates, you will not know how much you can lift
Ego: If you put on too many plates, you will run the risk of injury.
Me: Crap the ego used the "I: Word.  Everytime I have left the world of lifting it has been because of some sort of serious injury.
IPT: Fine, When you are done wasting your time let me know.

So lifting: Smith machine Squats: 4 sets 10 reps.
set one: 135, Set two: 185, Set three 225, Set four 275
Wow, I have not squatted like that in a while, so this felt great.  So great in fact that I headed over to the V-Squat.  This is my favorite leg exercise.
5 sets 10 reps.
IPT start off with 4 plates.  (180 lbs), I go "yes, I think that I will."  So I start there and progress like this: (the plus repersents the weight of the press)
Set one: 180 , Set two: 270 , Set Three: 360 , Set four: 450 , Set five: 450
That is 10 plates.  So, I have a new goal to lift 24.  That is a 1/2 ton. (1080 lbs).  I have done this in the past.  Only in high school though.

I now have the great base lines, and sore quads, glutes, and calves.  Though If gettinfit can work a work out in, so can I.  I need to focus on the goals that I have set, and I know that I have workout days where my legs to take a break.  I am changing up my aerobics as well, I am not going to be outside as much as possible for cardio days.  I love running in the rain, brings out my determination, has fewer people out to get in my way, and I feel great having done something when others would go home.

Ok, so what else is happening? Nothing really.  I am still waking up glory in the mornings, she is well for those who read both blogs.  We are still praying to the protien bar gods in our BFL cult (for stardust), and I am looking forward to more summer months.  BFL week 7 is going on, and I am looking forward to many great workouts ahead of me.

Funny story of the post: So Tell me if you have seen these people:
1) Donnie thousand rep: This is the gym rat who thinks that doing a thousand reps at a low weight will help him.  Typically found with a dopy grin, and flexing as they walk.
2) Johnie/Janie walker: They walk up and down the Isles doing every machine that is in the isle regardless of what the machine does.  Typically done at low weights
3) Boots: They were boots, uggs cowboy, or biker boots, sometimes on the aerobic machines.
4) Lars: the name just sounds big.  I tend to follow them around looking at what they do.
5) The book club: These people sit on an exercise machine, typically with a towel over the stats, and read a book, magazine, homework. etc.  I do not know if they sweat or not, though I laugh over this when I see it.
6) Bobbie socialite: They sit on a machine and do not workout, just talk to whomever is around them.  Two of them together can take up a machine for a half hour or more.  Hope you did  not need it.
7) The dasher: I am one, this is the person who is waiting for a machine, and will run to it to get it in when they are working out.
8) A  ____: They walk around not knowing what is happening around them, their music is so loud, or they are just oblivous to the world around them.  They typically look lost.

I am a people watcher, these are the people that I see all the time.

Song of the Post: Point your iTunes to the podcast called deepblue radio.  This is like 2 hours of music, 100 programs, all free.  Even if you are not a fan of it all, it is amazing to workout to, and to listen to It takes up some space on the computer, though even still. It is all free. 200 hours of free music.  wow.

Thanks for reading.
Steve (SoF)

SoF vs. The Math...

First, thanks to those checking in on me.  I have been going crazy with work.  There are not enough people to run our stores, and I have been helping cover in emergancies.  Needless to say, I have not taken the time to post, though I do not have much to tell sometimes.

Opening shots:  I am still looking forward to a recovery day.  I have had one in the 6 weeks that I have been on this BFL challange.  So I have one on Sunday, I only work for a short time, and I think that I will take some time off.  Where have my days off been?  I have had three 16 hour days, those I take as my "rest day".  I typically take off an aerobic day if I need to sleep. Which has helps to some degree.

The Salvo: My mother has a way with words, she tells tells me that I am fat in the nicest ways, and it is not until I have had time to digest the conversation that I realize what she said.  We were talking about EP actually, and working out, and she made a comment along the lines of "you are not skinny, you have  come along way, though you are not skinny yet". I do not want you to get a big head.  Which is nice at first, then I realize that I am her eating partner, the one she turns to for food and eating out.  This is not the first time, though it is coming up on about once a month.  I am just trying to use it to help me focus and workout better, sometimes external motivation is the greatest.  My friends girlfriend called me fat once, and I lost tens lbs between then and the next time we hung out.  So I love hearing things like this, because it only helps me out more.

BFL update: This is week 6 and while I have not taken the time to take pics, I would like to just to see where I have been, which I have one of, and Future pics, I hope to have more.  So what do the stats look like?

Scale: 237.0    Six Week  Difference: 8 Scale
Fat: 41.7                                                11 Fat !!
Bone:5.2
H20: 44.8
Muscle: 37.8                             Down: 3 lbs.

So that is a total of 19 lbs.  though EP will only let me put down the scale lbs that I have lost.  This puts me over 40 lbs scale not counting the 11lbs. of fat.

So let me take you through a days meal planning:
Wake up (6 or 7am): Have my first protien drink (12 hour protein)
Pre-Training drink (about 8ish): Rice milk and Egg white protein
Post-Training drink (about 930/10): 2:1:1 recovery shake (it is named 2:1:1)
1st Meal (about 11 am)7oz of Chicken, brown rice and broccoli
1st Protein Shake (1pm): Egg White protein, rice milk, banana, Rice yogurt, Ground flax
2nd Meal(when I get me break):  Same as first so I can make it once and be done.
2nd Protien Shake(7pm): Egg White protein, rice milk, Yogurt, banana, Cacoa Powder.
Last protien Shake: 12 hour protien shake before bed.

There are more if I am up for more than 18 hours.  Though you get the point.

I am also crunching lots of suppliments, if you have any questions, I can answer if you need, need less to say that I have been doing all I can to help along this path.  Proper supplimentation is like adding racing parts to your car.  They will not help if your car does not leave the driveway.

I will not have a funny story, I will give you somethign to think about.  The scale is a compass, it can guide you, not tell you how to get to where you want to go.  You have to decide what it is that you are losing weight for.  I posted a forum thread in the BFL group about what is your goal level of fitness.  What is your goal level?  Am I to believe that if I get on nutrasystem will help me lose 2 lbs a week does that mean in 100 weeks I will weigh nothing?  I am not out to lose weight anymore.  I could care less If I stayed in the 230s or not.  What I am out to do is change my body fat %.  I am looking to get in the teens.  That is my goal level for my body.  For my fitness level, I want to be able to drop everything and play a full game of something, not huff and puff when I do sports.  Take up a new sport.  Many things to help me get to where I need to be, though I have goals which are the map, and a scale which is the compass, now I just have to invest the time to cross the map.

Song of the post:  I abhor country.  I use the word abhor, mostly because I do not think that hate is strong enough.  I have been forced to listen to it, and the last time was about 2003.  There is a song by Tim something or another about celebrity.  It talks about how much do you want something? How much do you need something? Are you eating, sleeping drinking with that one thing on your mind.  I think about that and it helps me to keep moving, and think about going to the gym when I do not want to, and keep me focused.  The reason I know all the lyrics is that my boss liked the guy, and it was the only album she played at the record store.  ::shudder:: I got through it..

Thanks for reading, think about where you want to go and what you want to do.  Keep your head up.

Steve (SoF)

I am sending out an SoF..

So I finally have a little time to write a blog, I have been going crazy at work, travelling and attempting the dating life.  All before I start school in 3 weeks.  There has been several things happening, and i will try to make this more uplifting than the last post that I put up almost 3 weeks ago.

Opening shots:  So I have returned from my trip, oh yeah, I was out of town for the weekend.  I went to my cousin's first communion, which is the last one for my aunt.  It was wonderful to see everyone, though I was not prepared for all the attention.

The Salvo:  So if any of you out there have lost a lot of weight in between seeing family members, they have to tell you about how much weight that you lost.  My only issue what that my grandmother could not stop talking about it.  While I appriciate the compliment, and it is nice that someone is noticing, though she would not stop talking about it.  Everyday, 3 to 4 times a day, there was a conversation, and a wow.  Now, I did not lost weight for attention, I lost it because I wanted to help my mother, and I feel better being lighter (except for now, 2 plane flights in 48 hours, and surrrounded my children, on top of working crazy hours of work does not help my immune system).  Unfortunately, this is the first time that my mother was actually larger than my grandmother.  I have accepted that I cannot help her right now, and I would love to, though it is her fight.

The stats:
so I missed the fat this morning, though the scale weight is on track even with going through what I did this weekend.  Mostly starving.  My convictions to health are so much that I did not eat anything that was not on my diet, or just not eat at all until there was food that I could have.  With that being said, I am on track for my three pound swing.  Down 1 pound Scale, Up 1 pound muscle, Down 1 pound of fat.

Funny story of the post:  Ok, so the greatest part of being with children is that they are embarrassed by your actions.  This is amplified more so if you are doing something that seems logical, though illogical is proper.  So, we get the first pew in the Catholic church, and at first I am sitting in the middle.  My friend and I are talking about the clothes that the girls are wearing, My cousin kept telling us to be quiet.  That people could hear us.  So we started picking on her.  Thenl, my aunt comes to tell us that we are greeters at the resteraunt, and that we need to be in the back of the church, as we will need to head out during communion.  Ok, so I hop the barrier so I do not have make everyone move.  Whoops, I am being pulled on from my cousin, people are up in arms, and I am halfway over the railing, when I am told that I need make everyone move.  Well, this triggered laughs from all the people there, and I smiled, as my cousin turned red.

Song of the Post:  So, I finally heard from the coworker that I have been lining over, it turns out that she likes me as much, and has been avoiding hanging out with me because she did not know where I stood.  So we cleared the air and made plans to eat lunch on Friday.  On wednesday I sent a text saying I will see you tomorrow.  So, I did not realize this until friday.  Since I believe that fate and luck are cop outs(do not flame me on this, this is an opinion), I just accepted and found a song that helped me.  It is Arvin Van Buurin's Burned by Desire.  It described the situation, though from a females perspective.  I think that I listened to it ten or more times.  If you have space for only one trance album, or only one dj to listen to, I would recommend him, as would DJ magazine.

Thanks for reading, and I hope that I have caught up on everyone, if Not I will be around soon.

Steve (SoF)

If SoF exhales drama....

It is because it is all that I can breathe in lately...

Opening Shots: So there was a fight amongst my friends over the weekend, and do not get me wrong it was a long time coming about how some people behave.  I have other concerns, though they are all my friends and I care about them.  It is just random drama and there is no one really impartial for me to talk things over with.

The Salvo:  And now for something completely different....Drama.  So the co-worker that I have been crushing on has been fired.  Though I know the whole story, and feel bad for her, I have to remain impartial at work, and just deal with all the rumors and drama that is happening in the wake of this.  This is actually great for me, because as it were, I was unable to date her given that I was her boss.  She is still single and we are currently trying to make arrangements to hang out, though it seems that we are working oppsite schedules.  There is also a co-worker with a friend that I like.  She also likes me, now she is moving back out the the area, and wants to hang out more.  So that would bring the count up to two.  Right? You would think...Nope, the count is actually 3 at this moment at this time.  Who is this third one you ask?  I have actually posted about her before.  In a star crossed lover post.  Yep, the person that I met who went to Las Vegas, has returned to IL, and is looking to hang out with me sometime.  When evertying settles for everyone this could be interesting.  I am not a person to date multiple people, mostly because I like to focus on one person.

The Hail Mary:  As a long shot, I have decided to post the worst news that I have recieved in a while.  Mostly because I need to deal with it, and more for me to be able to accept it.  I have posted about my mother not always doing well.  She has congestive heart failure, and rhumatoid arthritus.  In addition to all of this the family has a history of heart disease, and just about eveyone drops from a heart attack.  She has a difib attached to her, and there is a lot of things that I know to help her out.  It is also one of the reasons that I have never moved out, I want her to be comfortable, even though she shares my fierce independance.  She finally slipped and told me the extent of how bad it is (she has had all over these for the last 7 years).  If she were to stop taking all her drugs, she would last 2 to 4 years.  With the drugs, it is 8 to 10 at best.  If she were to lose a hundred lbs, it could extend her life into the teens.  She forgets to take her drugs, get the perscriptions filled, and eats whatever she wants, sometimes forgetting to eat at all ( I wonder where I got it from).  So, while I am in school (again), I will try to help her with the path that she is walking because I have done what I can at this time.

On top of all of that, I may have to get a second job, to help pay for school.

Onward:

This is week three for BFL, I have not missed a workout, though i did go stir crazy on my day off.  I ended up walking for about 45 mins at a really slow pace to keep me from going crazy.  I have improved, I have a goal that at the end of 12 weeks to get 2 miles in 20 mins on the stair master, right now, I am at a mile and a half.  I am also looking to increase the weights again.  For the next BFL challange, I am looking to start a body building plan.  natural body building, nothing other than suppliments for the time being.  Great goals, expically since I have gotten rid of all the "fat clothes" They are all gone, every last one of them.

The Stats:
Scale: 242.2 Down a pound from last week, and 3.6 since I started 2 weeks ago.
Fat: I am down a pound of fat from last week.  Yeah...
Bone: I am up about a half pound of bone since the last post.  Strong bones are important.
H20: This has not changed in weight since I started, so I cannot gage where I am here.  that and muscle and fat both have water in them
Muscle:  This is up, not much though, anything in an improvement.

Funny Story of the Post: There is a simpsons episode that has Homer, Ned, Grandpa, and Mr. Burns going to canada for prescription drugs.  Ned meets a canadian who looks like him, talks like him, and then offers him Pot.  I will give his quote at the end of this.  So, a co-worker (you can probably tell what consumes my life), found a single female who is on the same diet that i am on, read the same books that I have read, and thinks similiarly to me.  So what happened.  So I was talking to her and she clears the air about somethings, mainly that while she would love my company, she is a lesbian, and does not want to lead me on in any way.  This is ok, I have several friends that are gay.  So after about an hour on the phone of making plans and talking about life, she goes to me " Oh, one last question, Do you smoke Pot?" (side note: I abhor drugs, of any kind, I take suppliments, though I have lost/left friends in the past because of their recreational hobbies).  Ned from the Simpsons: "I was told the devil would be good looking"

Song of the Post: So what do I listen to when life goes crazy like this?  Something that has a great meaning, that can carry me though my time at the gym, and through what I need.  So the Song of the Post: VNV Nation's Carry you off of judgement.
" Though the past the unwanted memories are holding on to you, All the power in the universe conspires to carry you.  Truth you find through your adversites will defend you, as you your powers and your energies conspire to carry you....."

Thanks for reading. and Apologies to Stardust, JKS and Gettingfit, I have been commenting though EP does not like me posting from my phone.

P.S. Long post Warning, do not read if you do not have like 10 minutes....

Hey SoF did you here the one about....

Greetings EEPs, I am putting up the week one results, talking about the wonderful week last week and the start of this great week ahead...

Opening Shots: So last week our coffee machine had an update.  This crashed our coffee machine.  Yes, appearantly, these things can crash.  So we had a tech come out and fix it.  The next day it crashed again.  early in the morning.  The tech came out once to fix it, and then needed to get a part, so he left and came back 4 hours later.  4 Hours without coffee, in a coffee shop people.  I was leading off with "hey have ya'll herad teh one about the coffee shop with no coffee?  An hour and a half after he leaves with the machines fixed, the water filtration system goes out.  Yep, we have no water to make drinks with.  So we are on an emergancy call for the people to come out, and they do not even arrive that night.  So I had a fun week that day.

The Salvo:  There are a few situations in life where nothing wrong can happen.  You have to recognixe these events, and know that they are happening, then you can decide teh best course of action to do.  As many of you know from the last post, I have a crush on a coworker.  We have thus far been unable to do anything mostly due to conflicting schedules.  She called me last night at 2 in the morning. (This is a great sign because she called no one else).  There was some family drama that involved a hospital, and she was freaking out last night.  So I offered to take her lunch at the hospital later that day(today).  Here is where it gets interesting.  I get a call before my work out this morning, my mother needs me to take her lunch.  I have not heard from the coworker yet, and I figure she is still asleep or at the hospital with her phone off.  My mother works 2 miles from the hospital.

I take my mother lunch, go to starbucks and grab her favorite drink, (When you make drinks all day, this becomes second nature).  And go to the hospital.  One of three things is going to happen
1) I will arrive, she will accuse me of stalking her, throw the drink at me, and work becomes a little weirder.
2) I will arrive at the best possible time, with something that she needs right at that moment, and things start between us.
3) The most likely event, I will just stop by, check in make sure she is alive, offer the drink and offer lunch.

And the winner is option 4.  She was still sleeping when I arrived at the hospital.  She called me from the car dealership.  Telling me more of the grand night that she had last night, and would not be there while I was there.  She loved the initiative though...

The Stats:
Weight: 243.2  Down: 2.6 lbs scale
BMI: 43.5          Down: .9%
Bone: 5.0
Water: 43.4      UP, though no change in numbers
Muscle: 37.6    Down as well (this is why I am not a fan of tech and BMI)

Funny story of the Post: So I have often talked about what people say, Not too mych abotu the things that I say that I should not.  A customer has made no bones about what she wishes to do to mine.  Everyone knows this, and it is often a little odd when she is around.  The other day, I was making reference to the caffine in her drink, and I said, "You would not want me to keep you up all night would you?"  Yep, those words, my mouth.  My coworker was laughing so hard that she had to walk away.  The customer, was like anytime you want to keep me up all night, I will be ready...

Song of the Post: Grab Markus Schultz album Amsterdam.  There are two continous mixes that are both really great.  They will help keep you going and you will not have to worry about changing your songs, or having a mix that will last you.

Thanks for reading all, I appriciate all the comments and love.
