Thursday reason
I want to have a baby one day.
And the thought that i might be too fat to conceive/may have complications during birth scares the bejeesus out of me.
My parents struggled to have kids (for other reasons) and i can only imagine the heartbreak they must've went through. I dont want to go through that too.

Wednesday reason
I dont want to burst the buttons on my pants anymore.
This one pair of pants i own were getting a tinsy bit tight... and the buttons were straining a bit and coming loose. I dont want this to happen anymore, and i REFUSE to buy bigger pants until i lose weight.

Hey guys,
Thanks for all the support RE: the bathing suit situation. Yes, it is a vacation to sunny warm northern Australia - hooray! considering it's the depths of winter right now.
I really, really love theme parks and love hte water - and it's only been recently (probably since my boyfriend and i got together...hrmmmmmm coincidence?) that i've been self concious.
Came home from work last night and was in a really grumpy mood. My boyfriend.. lets say.. isnt the best communicator. He gets frustrated with stupid people, and he also wont ask questions if he doesnt understand something. So i asked him to call the tax department to ask something, and he did... but came back with some convoluted answer that didnt make any sense. So i grumbled at him. I get really frustrated that he cant say "i dont understand what you mean" or "can you explain that again" when he's faced with someone talking jargon and not plain language. So i kind of made him call his tax man, and we got the answer we needed.....
But i was grumpy and had to rush off to the gym - we only see each other for like 30 minutes on a Tuesday despite living together. I get home from work at 6pm, leave for the gym at 6.15pm. He goes to gridiron training on tuesdays and thursdays from 6.30pm - 9.30pm... so its a perfect chance for me to go to the gym. I almost didnt go - but am very glad i did... apparently one class of combat burns around 500 calories in 45 minutes!
I then came home at about 7.30pm, veged on the couch and ate dinner/watched tv, then got to see the boy for about another 20 minutes before we went to bed. at about 10pm.
I apologised to him this morning too... told him i loved him and was sorry for being a grumpy bum/
Food eaten yesterday totalled 1494 calories. According to Calorie King i should be around 1560 calories... slightly different than the random 1200 - 1300 i created for myself. I was hungry at the 1200 and feel more satisied around 1500, so we'll see how this goes for a few weeks.
Only 10 more sleeps until my holiday!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY.
I don't want to be self concious in my bathing suit.
I'm going on holiday next week and we're going to a theme park with all water rides... i had a dilemma in my little brain - do i just run around in my bathers all day, or do i get changed and undressed before and after i get on each ride? incredibly unpractical.
PLUS, i'm going with the boy, and the most unsexy thing in the world is a girl that's self concious.............................

I cant think of a title.
Today is Tuesday.
I'm pretty bored today.
I was really tired yesterday - didnt get much sleep on the weekend. You know the so tired you're in pain, tired? Well i was like that yesterday. Sore head, whingy, blah.
Then my train was late coming home, and i was just BLAH.
The boy was lovely though - cooked tea for me. It's kind of a catch 22 situation - i do most of hte cooking (which is good when we're trying to lose weight!) but i kind of get sick of it sometimes.
So it's extra nice when he does it. Except... i'd bought some fish to eat, and was just going to marinade it in some soy and ginger and steam some vegies.
The lovely boy...bless his heart... decided he was going to make butter, lemon, butter, garlic, butter baked fish, and steamed vegies with a white creamey cheesey buttery sauce.
It tasted DEVINE, but was probably about 45433548987 calories. I couldnt exactly say "hey honey, thanks for cooking me dinner after i've had such a terrible day... but... i'm not going to eat it because it's too fattening". He's not a great cook, and he tried REALLY hard.
I also had a caramello koala yesterday (for you americans - read chocolate filled with gooey caramel). It felt good too. Exactly what i needed, and i hadnt had chocolate in ages.
So after an all round crappy (food wise) weekend (and monday), back on the band wagon today!
Have eaten fairly well - probably not enough actually. Don't want my body to slip into starvation mode!
Going to go to the gym tonight too to do a combat class... hopefully better than last week.
OH! i forgot to add. Boy and i booked a last minute holiday - off to QLD on hte 11th of July (ie ... next week!)
Do you think a week is enough time for me to get skinny for a bathing suit!? haha...

Monday reason
I want to look hot when i go to a bar.
I remember the days about 2 years ago, when i'd go out for a night on hte town and felt HOT. I'd be so confident and feel great.
On saturday knight i had a bit of a personal battle - i thought i looked hot in this one outfit, went and had a triple look in hte mirror and relised i looked hideous.
I ended up finding something nice-ish to wear... but it took me a long time. I think i tried on everything in my wardrobe.
i want to look hot!

An even bad-der girl
So, very very happy about the weigh in - lost another 500grams (1.1lbs) which brings my total loss to about 4kgs (8.8lbs). Am stoked about this because i've only really been trying/applying myself for a month or so.
Having said that, terrible weekend in terms of weight loss. Went to the gym saturday morning, but went out to a bar saturday night with friends. Had a few drinks and was a little bit tipsy. Then sunday went to a bbq with friends and ate a medium 'ole piece of cheesecake and a slither of chocolate cake later in the day. Plus i had a hamburger and a vegie kebab and white bread. Calories were probably OK-ish (didnt have any dinner) but nutritional value was pretty crap.
Can i ask... is there any different health wise in terms of alcohol? I was drinking vodka and orange juice because in my silly brain i thought that this might be slightly more healthy than a vodka and lemonade.
What are your thoughts?

I'm a bad, bad girl.
Two slip ups yesterday.
1. Ate pan fried salt and pepper pork for lunch instead of my planned lunch. Lots of salt - felt funny for hte rest of the day.
2. Didnt go to the gym.
One of my colleagues proposed to his girlfriend on the weekend, so we went out for a celebratory lunch. The menu was full of pan fried and coconut milk curries, and i couldnt figure out which one was worse - so i went for hte one that would be yummiest. On a positive note, i think it might have fit in with my daily calorie allowance because i had a fairly low calorie dinner.
Didnt go to the gym because it was just too damn cold, and i wanted to spend some time with my boy who is feeling a bit tired/down. Plus, i was pretty tired. I went Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday, plus i'll go to a class tonight, so hopefully that will be enough before weigh in saturday.

Energiser bunny!
I am the energiser bunny. The biggest thing i notice when im eating better/working out is that i have 10 times more energy. I dont feel as sluggish, i dont wander - i walk fast.
Last night i went to a combat class at the gym, and it's changed since i'd last been. They have a new release which i'm not really a fan of - i like fast paced hardcore cardio, i dont want to waste my time (when im meant to be burning calories) on slow boring movements. So it kind of only felt like half a work out - we only did fast stuff for half the class.
And, i had so much energy that i just HAD to go for a trip on the eplileptical machine for 5 minutes after the class. I was pretty tired by then, but you know, not buggered like i wanted to feel. I'm not sore today either.
Am going to do day 2 week 1 of the C25K at the gym tonight too. Not going to spend too much time there 'cause i wanna see my boy!
It's kind of weird how my mind has changed to. I'm actually looking forward to weighing in. Hopefully i dont get my hopes up too high and end up feeling bad (like earlier posts), but i feel good. I'm confident.
Yesterday's calories were okay. I had a small piece of chocolate brownie and that was nice. My work is really bad at sabotaging - there's always cakes around. So work is at fault for the scones and brownies in the last couple of days.
BUT I ENJOYED THEM, so i'm not going to feel too guilty.
I was REALLY hungry yesterday too. Nothing seemed to fill me up, even when i drank a heap of water. I wonder if it's my body adjusting to working out/eating healthier?
