I cant think of a title.
Today is Tuesday.
I'm pretty bored today.
I was really tired yesterday - didnt get much sleep on the weekend. You know the so tired you're in pain, tired? Well i was like that yesterday. Sore head, whingy, blah.
Then my train was late coming home, and i was just BLAH.
The boy was lovely though - cooked tea for me. It's kind of a catch 22 situation - i do most of hte cooking (which is good when we're trying to lose weight!) but i kind of get sick of it sometimes.
So it's extra nice when he does it. Except... i'd bought some fish to eat, and was just going to marinade it in some soy and ginger and steam some vegies.
The lovely boy...bless his heart... decided he was going to make butter, lemon, butter, garlic, butter baked fish, and steamed vegies with a white creamey cheesey buttery sauce.
It tasted DEVINE, but was probably about 45433548987 calories. I couldnt exactly say "hey honey, thanks for cooking me dinner after i've had such a terrible day... but... i'm not going to eat it because it's too fattening". He's not a great cook, and he tried REALLY hard.
I also had a caramello koala yesterday (for you americans - read chocolate filled with gooey caramel). It felt good too. Exactly what i needed, and i hadnt had chocolate in ages.
So after an all round crappy (food wise) weekend (and monday), back on the band wagon today!
Have eaten fairly well - probably not enough actually. Don't want my body to slip into starvation mode!
Going to go to the gym tonight too to do a combat class... hopefully better than last week.
OH! i forgot to add. Boy and i booked a last minute holiday - off to QLD on hte 11th of July (ie ... next week!)
Do you think a week is enough time for me to get skinny for a bathing suit!? haha...
