I need to move it move it.....

On a couple of levels - i need to move move move my butt (of course!) but i think i also need to move house.

We're renting.

I think we've realised our house is a bit big for us. It's a 3 bedroom, huge backyard house, and, well, it's just the two of us. It's a bit run down too, ie: old carpet, and i think we can get better value for money if we move somewhere a bit smaller - a 2 bedroom apartment or something.

Plus, our real estate agent sent us a letter yesterday saying they want to inspect the house next week - i dont know why i'm so scared,  - our house is fine, it just needs a bit of a tidy up. We havent done any real damage to it. BUT I'M STRESSED! I dont like the idea of them looking through my house. Even though, really, it aint my house.

We've been there a year and a half and they've not inspected it once. Considering the rental market is so tight, i think they're doing it so they can decide to put the rent up in price.

Plus, i think i need the symbolic change. Considering so much shit has gone on in the last few months, i want something new - a symbolic fresh start.

Went to the gym last night which was good. Did 20 minutes of couch to 5k then 10 minutes on the eplileptical cross trainer thingo. I'm still kind of struggling with week 1 of the couch to 5k. I get to the last 5 minutes and really struggle - i get bored and sore and almost cant battle through.

Ate pretty well yesterday too, with the exception of a small piece of cheesecake. it was really small - like two mouthfuls. And it had fresh berries on top - they're healthy! Ate every 2 1/2 hours or so.

  • Banana (80 calories)
  • bowl fibre plus cereal & skim milk (158 41 = 199)
  • 1 biscuit
  • tuna sandwich on wholemeal
  • piece of cheesecake (SMALL! oops...hehe)
  • rice crackers - about 8
  • 2 beef, zucchini, capsicum and red onion kebabs & spoon ful of salad

Moving

I'm in the same boat . . . but moving is SUCH a hassle . . . good luck with that, and congrats on the loss earlier in the week!!

It's TOUGH the couch 2 5k at first. Just keep pushing. You're doing awesome already.

C25K

You're tempting me!  The more I hear about this C25K program, the more I want to start, too.  Are you doing the whole thing on the treadmill, or are you running outside?  I'd do it outside, weather permitting, but there are not tracks in our area - I'd have to run on the pavement and I'm afraid to hurt my knees.

Good luck with the moving plans.  I'm sure everything will work out.
