Before After

I'm on strike

I think i just need to give up this weight loss thing for a couple of weeks. This is mainly because:

I HAVENT REALLY BEEN DOING ANYTHING TO LOSE WEIGHT.

So maybe i should just try and be a little concious of what im eating/doing for the next couple of weeks, and then when i'm back home i'll make more of an effort to do stuff.

I'M NOT MAKING EXCUSES FOR MYSELF.

I really am going to get that routine back in shape when i get home and are cooking for two people who want to loose weight, and have a gym.

I just cant do it right now.

I went for a run/walk on the weekend and tore ligaments in my foot/ankle. So i'm out of action for a couple of weeks - can barely walk let alone do anything strenuous.

All the exercise i managed to do was mow the lawn (how hardcore is that!?) and do half a run.

So i never made it to the gym, and therefore never weighed in.

Might keep blogging occasionally until then, mainly for food, but i'm going to get SERIOUS when i get back home.

time off

hi there.  thanks for your comment on my blog.  :)  hope youre managing to hang in there.  i think sometimes we do all need time to check out and re-evaluate/re-motivate ourselves as to why we decided to lose weight in the first place.  what does it mean to you and how will you feel when you get to goal weight?  why did you start this journey?  do you really want it?

anyway, i do find that blogging really helps me, even if i'm not on track on a particular day or week (as has been happening a lot lately the past month or so!)  take care!

breaks are okay

Definitely take a time out, if you think it will help you.  Even when my eating has gone to mush, I find that writing about what's going on my life helps me get back into focus.  But what's important is to take time for you and to make sure that you are feeling committed, mentally and physically.  Don't worry, we'll be here when you come back full time!!

Keep writing

No matter what you do, please keep in touch regularly.  I'm sure you'll be fine once you get back into a normal routine.

Have a great day!

Not a big deal

Hey!
Thanks for your comments :) I know it's a complete lifestyle change and to be honest, I've never felt better :P

I thought mowing the lawn was pretty good exercise!
Don't worry too much about it, you'll lose the weight , sometimes life gets too hectic but you'll be back on track soon!

Let that foot heal

Sorry to hear about your foot ouch! Sounds like you have a great plan. Sometimes you need to take some time off. Keep blogging though! We want to hear from you.
