Yay for weekend!
So the weekend has finally rolled around... yay! Also spoke to my mechanic yesterday, and he said my car should be ready around tuesday or wednesday. So things are looking up!
Spent last night with the boy and am going back home again tonight for the weekend... and then i'll probably spend a couple nights apart early next week, and then it'll ALL BE OVER!
I can finally fit back into normal life routine. As much as i've loved house sitting (and it means i'm 15 minutes from work rather than 1 1/2 hours), i am really, really keen to get back into a routine.
Back into meal planning (we stick loosely to the CSIRO diet), back into regular exercise (body combat mondays, run at the gym tuesdays and thursdays and saturdays). OOOOH who would've thought i'd have gotten excited about routine!
Heading out for lunch at the pub - different pub than last time, so no ocean trout/salmon option. I dont like the pub we're going too much - all the food is really oily, all fried, and generally not nice. But, it's next door to our work.
I ordered what i think is one of the healthiest options on the menu - nachos. It was that or something like a chicken schnitzel and chips or deep fried fish and chips. No thanks. nachos for me.
Food eaten yesterday:
- ham and cheese roll
- left over pad thai
- carmens muesli bar
- baked chicken (no oil, just chicken breast) with oven baked chips
Today so far:
- 1 up and go drink
- 1 ham and cheese roll
- Nachos (for lunch)
I plan to go for a run tomorrow morning, then we'll veg tomorrow night (probably have Thai for dinner and a movie) and watch the boy play his first American Football (Gridiron...hehe) game for the season! How exciting!
I'LL ALSO WEIGH IN WHEN I GO TO THE GYM TOMORROW - actually dont expect any change. will still be around the same mark.
Also, do any of you guys have protein shakes? as in powder? what brand? i'm after a rec
