This new book...
So i'm reading this new book - Burn the fat, feed the muscle, and man... is it inspiring!?!? If any of you guys want a copy, i can email it to you.
I'm gonna' stick with it, because it sounds so doable. It reccomends basically retraining yourself to have positive thoughts (like imagine yourself where you want to be) rather than having negative connotations in all your goals. So rather than 'i will stop being fat' or 'i will lose all this fat', you should say something like: 'By summer, i will be happy, confident and look hot" with a mental image in mind.
It also says to have:
1. Long term goals: so like 12 months or more. What you'd be like in your wildest dreams.
2. Medium term goals: i'm using 6 months. Attainable, but will take a while.
3. 3 month goals: something a bit easier
4. Weekly goals: ie: to know your on track like lose 2lbs
5. Daily goals: to do's, habits you want to develop It also says to have an affirmation, and to write it down every day - preferably twice daily.
So, i'm going to bore you guys to tears daily on here - i'm going to try and write it here. My goals: (affirmation TBD)
1. 1 year - Get down to 70 kgs. Be a size 12 - 14
2. 6 months - Get down to 80kgs - be a size 14-16
3. 3 months - get down to 90kgs - a comfortable sz 16
4. Weekly (until Monday morn) - exercise at least twice more this week.
