I MADE A GOOD FOOD CHOICE!

I'm sorry. I know this is probably relatively minor to some people... but to me, this is a huge thing.

We went to lunch at the local pub, and i was surrounded by bad (yummy) food choices - CHIPS.... chicken schnitzels.... CHIPS...fried calamari.... CHIPS.... and guess what i had?

Pan seared ocean trout on a bed of mash... and it was DELICIOUS!

I'm so proud of myself, i'm positively glowing!

WAY TO GO!

There is just something about pub food that is hard to resist sometimes. It takes a lot of strength to make the healthy choice, expecially when everyone else is hogging up the fatty stuff. Way to go! Thanks for the comment by the way!

Difficult when healthy choices don't really feature on the menu... or only limited choices.

I know I always feel so pround of myself when I make a good food choice.  That's what I thought I did yesterday when I chose a strawberry smoothie over a burger and fries.  Wrong!  The smoothie had 500 calories.  I couldn't believe it.  Now i have to be sure to checck the calories BEFORE I eat anything I think is healthy.  Keep up the good work!
