Before After

A Thursday that feels like Monday

**Recipe needed**: Hey guys, i'm trying to make the most indulgent, yummy, amazing meal for the boy this weekend (anniversary!). Thinking of making a big juicey steak with some kind of gravy (mushroom? peppercorn?) and maybe some baby potatoes/mushrooms on the side... do you have any recipe suggestions?! Please post them for me!

Considering we had the day off work yesterday, today feels SO much like a Monday. But HOORAY! It's Thursday - and only two work days till the weekend.

Yesterday was a fairly good lazy day. Am SLOWLY getting over my cold. We went to see Mr Bean at the movies, i shared a medium popcorn with the boy, so not to evil (ie we didnt share a large) and i had a water.

Not much to share today - but thanks for the comments everyone, i really love them.

Food eaten Tuesday:

  • 2 pieces of light rye with butter
  • 2 minute noodles
  • packet of toobs
  • stirfry with beef

Food eaten Wednesday:

  • Cheese and bacon roll
  • Banana smoothie (low fat milk, honey)
  • Shared medium popcorn
  • small piece of lasagne (kangaroo mince, ultra yummy, ultra healthy! almost no fat.)

Not Monday again!!

I know what you mean, it definitely feels like another Monday... gah!

My boy and I did something for dinner last night that you might consider trying... we got some rump steak, cooked it and sliced it into small pieces, got some lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese, placed it all on a bit of lavash bread and toasted it! It was beautiful, and the grilled cheese and the steak.. mmmm... The boy had mayo AND mustard on his, but I skipped on both.. which made me feel even better. I've even brought some with me to work for lunch today. It might end up being a regular meal, it was so quick and easy.

Then again, if it's an anniversary meal, you might want to do something a bit more posh.. hehe. A bit of salmon, perhaps?
