Before After

It's working!!!

I've lost 2 more lbs! Woo-hoo! I really can't believe it. I haven't exactly eaten the healthiest this past week so I was a bit worried. But, I still ate when I was hungry, ate slow, and stopped when I was full. I did manage to exercise twice, but I would like to start doing a little bit each day.

Paul's episode last night really hit home with me. I have this feeling like exercise is pointless unless I do a lot of it. I feel so out of shape, and I have hard time doing a lot without getting out of breath, so I kind of give up on it and think why bother. But, I can easily take just a few more steps a day, and maybe take a walk around the block or work out on the bike.

I'm definitely one of those people that will drive around for an hour looking for the closest parking spot. I always take the elevator over stairs. Lazy lazy! No wonder I'm fat. But, I am finding I have a bit more energy these days. I still feel tired from the lack of sleep and general routine of being a mom and housewife, but I have an extra pep in my step these days.

good job

Hey, in our society getting activity in isn't always easy. Our jobs are easier, food is much more available. So it's not like it's your fault. Our society is very much centered around the easiest route to do things. And unless we have a naturally fast metabolism, we aren't going to burn it all up. It sucks because I don't know of any places to walk in my town because it's either all covered in snow or it's the little tiny mall that I don't feel like walking in. I always feel like I should try to fit in my activity by running around my car a hundred times while my son sits inside. cuz having a baby makes it difficult to just get up and go anywhere for walks especially when he's fussing and doesn't wanna be in the stroller.

getting better!

I've started parking farther away too. I think he also said you can take an extra lap around the grocery store. I dunno about all that!!!  I really need to find ways to sneak it in, because I hate working out!  How many times a day do you go upstairs? That would be a great simple way to start if you don't go up there daily. Or make yourself go upstairs x times a day.... you'll get a great booty! :P
