Jennifer Hudson looks Amazing!!

Have you seen the new weight watcher's commericials? Jennifer Hudson looks fabulous! I'm definitely buying into the hype considering she is a celebrity, and probably has trainers, and a crew helping her look great. But so what?! She's gorgeous and has definitely lost weight since her role in Dream Girls.
I'm attending my first meeting tonight. I don't know how I'm going to respond to it. I'm pretty sure that the only reason I didn't join before was because it is a slow and steady program. I'd much rather lose weight quickly and look good for the summer. But where has that gotten me... no where and I'm sick of regaining all that weight. So any feedback? Do you recommend it? If not, is there anything else that would be better? I'm not looking for a lose weight fast gimmick, I need to be able to maintain my weight loss.
So wish me luck!! Now I just need to figure out the exercise part of it, mainly sticking to working out.

Frustrated but not giving up

I'm 20 years old, overweight, and living in a family of petite women. Add to that fact, I have PCOS, and an addiction to bread and chocolate and you have an unhappy female. I would love to increase my self confidence, mostly by managing my PCOS, and by losing weight. I am not severely obese but I am overweight. 

Since today is Day 1, I'm going to just set up with a new diet and exercise plan. Just something to get me through the rest of my summer, and once college starts I'll adjust my plan. I'm going to set a goal for 5lbs for the end of August. Basically I'm going to stick to a low carb diet and 30 minutes of cardio daily.
