Just Another Day!
Well its been a couple of days since I've posted something. Nothing new going on here. Just trying to maintain and stay focused. I got about another hour left here at work, then I'm going home and working out. Haven't used the stepper in about a week if not more, so I guess I'll pull that out tonight. Then I'll be off to church. Today I got on the scale just cause and my weight has not changed since my weigh in on Monday. Not sure what I was expecting to see, but its all good. I hope everyone out there is doing fine and staying focused. Havve a wonderful day!!!

Have a great weekend! Thanks for your comment on my blog - you're doing really well! 17.5 pounds already! It's interesting to me to see that you try to only weigh every other week. I might try that - I get freaked out if I weigh too often, but it's almost a compulsion. I have to put my scale somewhere fairly inaccessible to make it be a pain to get out and use. Pitiful, I know, but that's how it is! Take care!

You're doing fantastic!
You'll have lost 20 pounds before you know it and won't miss them one little bit. Hope you got back on the stepper tonight! I am a compulsive weigher, so I couldn't NOT weigh in every day. I tried, but I actually have more success if I do check the scale every day. I guess it just depends on the person. I admire your willpower! Have a GREAT weekend!

I have read your note to me several times. Thanks so much for sharing! I'd like to say the issues have gotten easier, but they haven't. It's hard to keep the right motivations in the midst of my desires, but I am working hard to work out for myself. And I do love myself. I KNOW that I am a fabulous catch. I just wish the good men would look past my weight to see that! It's like they never even consider me because they don't think that such great things would come in such a mediocre package. Well, I AM great, dang it! I'm holding out for the guy who notices this, and I'm praying for the patience I need until that day comes. I am DEFINITELY praying for a desire for God as much as I have a desire to be married and ministering with my husband. <sigh> Sometimes I make it too hard for myself. But God is good, and He is bigger than I can even imagine, and I know He's taking care of me.
On a happier note...you, my friend, are doing great! 18 pounds is quite significant! Keep up the good work!

...for the sweet comments on my blog a few weeks ago. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you but it's been nuts for me trying to get ready for my Vegas trip. Regarding the Phentermine, I've been on it from the beginning in conjuction with a high protein lo-carb plan. My suggestion to you would be to use this time to instill new healthy eating habits...like you said, you're not hungry anyway so you might as well eat something good for you. I eat 5-6X a day (small amounts that always include protein). It could be something like beef jerky or lowfat cheese sticks but it's something and it keeps your metabolism going. And drink lots and lots of water!
