All nighter

I am working one of my last night shift weekends and its getting really hard to stay awake.  Its times like these I could eat and eat.  Not because I'm hungry but to keep myself awake!  I brought some air popped popcorn for later, so hopefully that will keep me away from the vending machines.

My program isnt going so hot.  Try as I might, I just cant get back to the old groove of eating what I'm suppose to, without eating everything I'm not suppose to at the same time!!!

I joined a biggest loser contest at work.  Prize is $50 so I am hoping that will provide the incentive I need to stick with the program.  I weighed in today, and I need to get back at it now more than ever.  Wish me luck and keep losin - Shelly

Good Luck!

$50 is a good motivator when you really want something bad enough! I had been considering lap-band for quite some time, just wasn't sure how I would be judged on here. Now that I have it, I can confidently say that I did it for me. I still have to diet and do the exercise thing, I just can't eat as much. It has really changed my life already, and it has been less than a month now. I am glad to see that you had found another job, the last I remember is you were leaving a dr. office. I hope this is working out good for you. I read somewhere that a woman emptied all her change out before work, so that she wouldn't be able to hit the vending machines. I hope that might help you too! Skinny thoughts!

In the same boat

I wish I could offer advice about how to get back to eating right, but I'm in the same predicament as you are right now.  I know what I'm SUPPOSED to do, but sometimes I just want to do what I WANT to do.  Know what I mean?

Night Shift

Yuck!  Bad Memories!  It's impossible to stay on track on nights, I know.  You'll do it and $50 is a good incentive!  You could put it towards a new skinny outfit!  :-)

We all have good and bad days (weeks, months, years...)...just never give up trying!  You'll make it!  No one is perfect, that's okay.  Just don't give up on yourself!

YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!

It's so hard to lose weight on night shift

Working at night just messes with your entire system!   Be sure you get enought sleep though.  That truly DOES have an impact on your weight loss.  Sounds like you are giving it your best effort, though, joining the challenge and all.  Best of luck in meeting your goals!

Long time, no hear!

How's it going?
