Before After

Green tea and roller blades!

The beginning of this week my hubby and I started drinking one cup of hot green tea every day. There are sooo many good things that happen to your health and body just by drinking green tea. Type it into google and you'll see what I mean. It reduces the risk of some types of cancer and heart disease, and it helps people trying to lose weight, as it increases the metabolism, and is a natural antioxidant. So here's to green tea!!

Today the weather is absolutely gorgeous, so after finishing the bulletins for church tomorrow (I'm the "unofficial" church secretary, my hubby is the pastor), and getting my stuff ready for my Sunday School class I teach, my 4 year old son, Josh, and I went outside for several hours. He rode his bike, (which, he informed me, would need the training wheels off soon!! Yikes, my baby is growing up!) and I roller bladed. That was sooooo much fun, but I'm already feeling it in my legs and feet (which is the whole point of exercising I guess huh? ). I know I'll be sore tomorrow. I think we did that for at least 1 1/2 hours, maybe 2.

Anyhoo, my weight was the same this morning, so hopefully a loss tomorrow. Take care everyone, have a great weekend.

What's ON my fridge!

I have 2 sayings stuck on the front of my fridge. I can't remember where I heard/saw them, but I really like them. They are:

Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels!

& (my fav)

If you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you always got!

So what's ON my fridge a lot of times helps me not to eat what's IN my fridge.

Have a great weekend.

The beginning!

Hello to any and all reading the blog of a new dieter!

I've told myself so many times in the past that THIS time I was going to get serious. Well, this time I hope to stick with it. I absolutely detest the way I look right now, and I'm so not healthy, and I want to be around for many, many years to come for my family. So with God's help I will change.

I like this website, it has so much good info on it. I actually found this site, last year some time, but unfortunately that was one of the times I "fell off" the band wagon.

Well, I started back up again this time, the end of January at 188 pound, and as of this morning I'm down to 180.8. I hope to get into the 170's this next week, I haven't been in the 170's since before I had kids. YIKES!!

Anyway, thanks for reading this. Good luck to you on your weight loss journey.

Sharon
