It's been a while!
I know, I know! I haven't been blogging much lately!
I have come to the conclusion that I just cannot get 7 to 8 hours of sleep 12 days in a row. I have failed at basecamp yet again. I just can't sleep some nights.So now what? I don't mean to be skeptic but I feel like I would be in basecamp forever. GRRR!
A new plan. I will try basecamp again someday. But in the mean time I have to come up with something different. I haven't been working out since I quit my fitness job. I was just driving way too far (barely making any money after gas). I have done some basecamp training basic exercise. Squats, pushups, and crunches. But no hard core training for quite some time. With that said. Basecamp is all about recharging your body before going into a transformation session. I feel my muscles are fresh(so to speak).
I did a free trial membership at a gym back in May. I really enjoyed the gym. And since I have not worked out since then I am just maintaining my current weight. I just got a 3 month special offer for that gym in the mail. I am going to join for 3 months to get myself back into the habit of working out on a regular basis. I loved their group fitness classes and the weight equipment. The machines were awesome. I miss the leg press machine.
I have to do something! That's the plan :)
I am a little dissappointed in myself for being a basecamp drop out but I have given my body rest from strenuous workouts and I am very excited to get back into working out. I want to start tomorrow.
I have been busy. Yesterday was my daughter's 21 birthday. I didn't eat cake but I did indulge in pizza. But I ate good earlier in the day. Fresh fruit, egg white veggie omelette, baked salmon, veggies and a small sweet potatoe, etc. Yummy nutrient rich stuff. I'll be ok.
I have missed going to a gym so omorrow will be awesome :)
