I go back for my one month appointment with the doc for my 3 month supervised weight management plan next week.  I'm trying to remain focused and motivated.  It is a real challenge.  But I've got good support system with friends and coworkers that help me stay on track.  I'm starting a 30 day cardio challenge tomorrow that a friend forwarded to me as well as I pushed my water aerobics classes up to 4 times a week.  Previously they were just two days a week. 

Readjusting the portion sizes has been a real challenge for me, but I'm doing what I need to do.  I've increased my water intake.  Part of the cardio challenge is no alcohol, no fried foods, and no fast food.  So I think I was definitely have some decrease within my 30 days. 

Well I've packed my lunch and snacks for tomorrow so here's to a great week!

Day two

So I'm in day two, I think I've been doing well with my meals.  I went to my water aerobics last night and it was good.  I'm trying to remain focus!  I was headed home from the water class last night and I so wanted to stop and get something quick, but I remained focused and went home and cooked my meal.

Day One

So I had my first appointment last Thursday with the doctor for my 4 month supervised comprehensive weight loss program.  I think it went really well.  I go back for my first followup appointment August 16.  So I went to the grocery store this weekend, and today I started my plan.  Got up and did breakfast at home for a change, brought my lunch and my snacks for the day! 
 
I'm really gonna try to keep focused.   Its going to be a challenge but I'm going keep pressing forward!  My water aerobics class is tonight so I'm looking forward to that as usual.  This is a short week for me, I am leaving town to go back home for my sisters bridal shower this weekend.  I'm going do my best to keep my monitored eating habits up while there visiting.

Weeks almost over!

I think I had a pretty good week.  I went to my water aerobics class and made it to the gym this week.  Haven't been over eating, overall I'd say weeks going well! 
 
Going on a weekend getaway with the girls this weekend.  Excited about that.
 
Looking forward to next week for my doctors appointment.

Another day

Well I started my second session of the water aerobics last night and I enjoyed it.  And even more pleased with the fact that I went to Orthopedic spec on Friday had strain on my patella tendon but he suggested some exercises and said I could continue the water aerobics.  Well I have been popping pain pills and rotating between ice and heat packs for the pack week non stop daily, well after my class last night today was the first day I haven't felt the need for either, pills or ice.  I can't wait for Wednesday's class! 
 
Trying to work on the no excess eating and stuff so just taking it one day at a time.

Another beginning

Well I'm attempting a new angle on this weight loss journey.  In less then two weeks I have my first appointment with my doctor to attempt a supervised weight managemetn plan.  I've previously had physicians recommend losing weight and what not, but none have offered the assistance to create or help me with a plan. 
 
I'm not sure what it will entail but I'm looking forward to it.  I have had a few joint problems that are greatly contributed to my weight and i just need to make some attempts to get this weight off.  Although I've attempted in the past, Im interested to see what the recommendations and suggestions are from the doctor, any help is appreciated.
 
I started a Water Bootcamp class last month, that was about three weeks.  It was in the pool going against the current and it consisted of a lot of walking, running, jumping etc in the water.  Tonight I continue my water session with a water aerobics for 4 weeks, two times a week.  I'm going to try to implement the gym into the schedule on off days, it just makes no sense to keep paying a monthly membership and not taking advantage of it.
 
I'm two months away from my sisters wedding, and not trying to make any drastics drops in two months but it would be nice to do 10-15 pounds.  I live out of state from the fam, so it would be a little good to have made some type of accomplishment, even if only for my personal accomplishment.  I have so many people around me that are there supportingly in various ways there is no reason I shouldn't be able to make my goals come true! 
 
I have friends that do morning and evening walks that do not live too far and extend inviations, I have to stop declining them and accept the invitations.  This weight is not going to fall off by me thinking about it, I have to start doing things about it!  I talked about taking those water courses for at least a year and then I finally called one day and it had started the previous week, but I didn't let that deter me, they allowed me to join a week late and I did.  I could have easily said oh well, next time.  Then, when it ended I could have had the attitude well I did it, but I didn't I signed up for the next 4 weeks session.  I can't wait for tonight!

Another week almost over

Well this week has been up and down!  I've only been to the gym once this week!  I've done a few mini walks at lunch time but nothing much!  My eating has also been hit or miss, but have fortunately not overeaten.  Plan to get to the gym this evening.  I'm hoping to step up to at least 4 times a week next week.  My schedule really doesn't keep me from going more often so I just have to do it if I'm serious.

Well

Its been a few days!   Had been dealng wth a few things but have gotten those thngs straightened out!  Yesterday was a bad eatng day, superbowl party. lol. 
 
I made t to the gym ths afternoon!  Not that long of a work out, my knee was actng up so I only did 30 mins.  Then stopped by the grocery store for a few things.  Hope this week goes well!

Personal Struggles

Hope everyone is having a great week!
 
Still maintaining focus with my eating.  Unfortunately I have only made two trips to the gym this week.  I will def get at least one more in this week, but just a lot of other things on my mind.  Things going on in your life have a way of discouraging  you sometimes.  Fortunately I have been able to maintain my determination to make the right decision choices around eating.  But these times can put you in such a damper sometimes that it is so easy to lose focus. 
 
I so appreciate everyones blogs and things so that I can try to keep focus!  I heard to great church sermons this week, and I know God wouldn't bring me to something that I cant make it through!

Feeling Great!

Hope everyone had a great Monday!  I had a great day, and ended with a great workout and a great dinner.  I'm feeling so motivated and like I'm gonna have great success!
