BODY FOR LIFE
Is there anyone out there that is doing the Bodt for Life 12 week program????? I picked up the success journal last night and I think that I will be starting that program. It is very simple and looks like it would be easy to follow. Please let me know what you think.

me!
I've had the book since May and have been planning to do it but I had a back injury that kept me out of the gym. I'm going to start it on Jan 5.
There is a support group on EP about BFL and they know much more about it than I do. You may want to check it out.

Hey there
Glad you picked up the BFL book and success journal.
Yes, it is a simple program to follow. It's also a challenge at the same time. When you read the success journal you will see that Bill Phillips says..."there is no such thing as an easy challenge!"
The program is EXTREMELY effecient. When you plan in advance like he teaches, and do the workouts according to plan, you will be amazed at the results you will get with little time at the gym.
I'm not sure what you are doing now as far as eating, but when you eat according to BFL you will be amazed at how great you feel. I know this because I have done both. Ate like I should, and stopped for awhile. What a difference!
We are here if you have questions. I saw that you joined the group. *welcome* It's a quiet group, so here are some other resources as well...
A great site to track your progress and get more information is www.bodyforlife-tracker.com You can upload your before pic. track your measurements, blog if you choose too, etc. on that site. Very helpful.
Bill Phillips also has a farily new site at www.transformation.com You should go there and look around. Awesome stuff.
Hope that helps. Please feel free to stop by with any questions at any time.
I look forward to following your success.

also...
If you don't already have one, I would HIGHLY recommend getting a watch with a stop watch! I find mine invaluable when doing a challenge.
1. for timing your rests between sets, and
2. for setting a timer for meals. For me, one of the hardest things is getting 6 meals in. I would just "forget" to eat. Having a stop-watch really helped.
Take care!
